"Maybe I wasn't clear - I'm not dying."
— QUARK
"Maybe I wasn't clear - I don't care. I want my merchandise. I have a thousand ideas of how to defile your remains. Want to hear my favorites?"
— BRUNT, on contracting for the desiccated remains of QUARK

THE SHIP
"It's an old Klingon tradition. When a warrior dies in battle, his comrades stay with the body to keep away predators. That allows the spirit to leave the body when it is time to make the long journey to Sto-Vo-Kor."
— WORF, to O'BRIEN
73 73 LOOKING FOR PAR'MACH IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES
"If I were in your shoes, I would be looking for someone a little more entertaining, a little more fun, and maybe even a little more attainable."
— DAX
"You are not in my shoes."
— WORF
"Too bad. You'd be amazed at what I can do in a pair of size 18 boots."
— DAX

LOOKING FOR PAR'MACH IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES
"The idea of a Ferengi courting a great lady is offensive."
— WORF
"You know, it's attitudes like that that keep you people from getting invited to all the really good parties."
— QUARK
74 74 TRIALS AND TRIBBLE-ATIONS
"I had no idea... He's so much more handsome in person. Those eyes."
— DAX
"Kirk had quite the reputation as a ladies' man."
— SISKO
"Not him - Spock."
— DAX

TRIALS AND TRIBBLE-ATIONS
"I guess you boys from Temporal Investigations are...always on time."
— DAX
75 75 TRIALS AND TRIBBLE-ATIONS
"Benjamin Sisko, sir. I've been on temporary assignment here. Before I leave, I just want to say it's been an honor serving with you, sir."
— SISKO, to KIRK

TRIALS AND TRIBBLE-ATIONS
"Wait a minute, aren't you two wearing the wrong color?"
— BASHIR
"Don't you know anything about this period in time?"
— O'BRIEN
"I'm a doctor, not a historian."
— BASHIR
76 76 THINGS PAST
"I thought the Bajorans bent over backwards to be polite to you, Garak."
— SISKO
"Giving me a name tag that read 'Elim Garak, former Cardassian oppressor' was hardly polite."
— GARAK

THE ASCENT
"I guess I wasn't thinking."
— ROM
"What else is new?"
— QUARK
77 77 THE ASCENT
"Don't you get it? I'm not trying to rescue you. I'm taking you along as emergency rations. If you die, I'm gonna to eat you."
— QUARK, to ODO

THE DARKNESS AND THE LIGHT
"Quark may lend you the money, but remember Rule of Acquisition Number 111: 'Treat people in your debt like family - exploit them.' "
— WORF, to DAX
78 78 THE DARKNESS AND THE LIGHT
"I am a graduate of Starfleet
Academy, I know many things."
— WORF

FOR THE UNIFORM
"You win some, you lose some."
— DAX
"You always had problems with the 'lose some' part of that."
— SiSKO
79 79 IN PURGATORY'S SHADOW
"Mr. Worf, you're no fun at all."
— GARAK
"Good."
— WORF

BY INFERNO'S LIGHT
"There is no greater enemy than one's own fears."
— MARTOK, to WORF
80 80 BY INFERNO'S LIGHT
"One man's villain is another man's hero, Captain."
— GUL DUKAT, to SISKO

BY INFERNO'S LIGHT
"That space station you're so fond of was built by Cardassia."
— GUL DUKAT
"Funny, I thought it was built by Bajoran slave labor."
— SISKO
81 81 DOCTOR BASHIR, I PRESUME
"Please state the nature of the medical emergency."
— BASHIR hologram
"Oh, that's original."
— EMH

DOCTOR BASHIR, I PRESUME
"Wow! Think of it, Julian. If this thing works, you'll be able to irritate hundreds of people you've never even met."
— O'BRIEN, to BASHIR, on being the new template for the EMH program
82 82 DOCTOR BASHIR, I PRESUME
"I have brains!"
— LEETA
"Sure you do, honey. That's why I hired you. Now eat up and then take those brains back to the Dabo wheel where the customers can get a good, long look at them."
— QUARK

FERENGI LOVE SONG
" 'Latinum lasts longer than lust.' Rule of Acquisition 229."
— ROM
"Maybe, but lust can be a lot more fun."
— O'BRIEN
83 83 FERENGI LOVE SONG
"My Marauder Mo action figures.... Do you have any idea how much these are worth?"
— QUARK
"Not as much as if you'd kept them in the original packaging, which is what I told you at the time."
— [ISHKA]

FERENGI LOVE SONG
"Sometimes the only thing more dangerous than a question is an answer."
— GRAND NAGUS ZEK, to QUARK, citing Rule of Acquisition 208
84 84 FERENGI LOVE SONG
" 'Females and finances don't mix.' Rule of Acquisition 94."
— ROM, to LEETA

CHILDREN OF TIME
"Is it true you can kill someone just by looking at them?"
— KID
"Only when I am angry."
— WORF
85 85 EMPOK NOR
"...lately, I've noticed everyone seems to...trust me. It's quite unnerving. I'm still trying to get used to it. Next thing I know, people are going to be inviting me to their homes for dinner."
— GARAK
"Well, if it makes you feel any better, I promise I will never have you over."
— O'BRIEN
"I appreciate that, Chief."
— GARAK

EMPOK NOR
"If I'd been any closer to that phaser, it would have killed me."
— GARAK
"Well, don't take this the wrong way, but that was the plan."
— OBRIEN
86 86 A CALL TO ARMS
"Any marriage where the female is allowed to speak and wear clothing is doomed to failure."
— QUARK

A CALL TO ARMS
"Just don't forget the 190th Rule of Acquisition."
— SISKO
" 'Hear all, trust nothing.' Good advice, sir."
— NOG
87 87 A TIME TO STAND
"I could make things very pleasant for you here, Kira."
— GUL DUKAT
"You could start by doing something about your breath."
— KIRA

A TIME TO STAND
"First we'll shed blood, and then we'll feast."
— DAX
"As it should be."
— WORF, on the traditional Klingon wedding
88 88 SONS AND DAUGHTERS
"A vital mission, impossible odds, and a ruthless enemy. What more could we ask for?"
— MARTOK, to WORF

BEHIND THE LINES
"I tried. I tried my best to run my establishment under this occupation. But you know what? It's no fun. I don't like Cardassians - they're mean and arrogant. And I can't stand the Jem'Hadar. They're creepy. They just stand there like statues, staring at you. That's it. I don't want to spend the rest of my life doing business with these people. I want the Federation back. I want to sell root beer again!"
— QUARK, to KIRA
89 89 FAVOR THE BOLD
"There's an old saying: 'fortune favors the bold. Well, I guess we're about to find out..."
— SISKO

[SACRIFICE OF ANGELS]
"War is such thirsty work. Don't you agree?"
— GUL DUKAT
"Perhaps if you didn't talk so much, your throat wouldn't get so dry."
— WEYOUN
90 90 [SACRIFICE OF ANGELS]
"Never underestimate the element of surprise."
— ODO

[SACRIFICE OF ANGELS]
"200 enemy ships have broken through our lines. They're headed this way."
— DAMAR
"Time to start packing!"
— WEYOUN
91 91 YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED…
"Blood, Pain, Sacrifice, Anguish, and Death."
— WORF
"Sounds like marriage all right."
— BASHIR

YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED…
"We are Klingons, Worf. We don't embrace other cultures, we conquer them."
— MARTOK
92 92 YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED…
"We are not accorded the luxury of choosing the women we fall in love with. Do you think Sirella is anything like the woman I thought that I'd marry? She is a prideful, arrogant, mercurial woman who shares my bed far too infrequently for my taste. And yet...I love her deeply."
— MARTOK, to WORF

YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED…
"We Klingons often tout our prowess in battle, our desire for glory and honor above all else...but how hollow is the sound of victory without someone to share it with. Honor gives little comfort to a man alone in his home, and in his heart."
— MARTOK, to WORF
93 93 YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED…
"I wasn't looking to fall in love. I was perfectly happy by myself. I had friends, a career, adventure. Then one day, this Klingon with a bad attitude walked into my life. And the next thing I know, I'm getting married. After 356 years and seven lifetimes, I still lead with my heart."
— DAX

YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED…
"All men are sentimental. They just cover it up with scowls and clenched jaws."
— DAX, to KIRA
94 94 YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED…
"There's nothing more romantic than a wedding on DS9 in springtime."
— BASHIR
"When the neutrinos are in bloom."
— O'BRIEN

RESURRECTION
"Sometimes your taste in men frightens me."
— KIRA
"I'll make sure to tell Worf you said so."
— DAX
95 95 RESURRECTION
"You do have Gods, don't you?"
— KIRA
"Course we do."
— BAREIL
"You don't sound too sure."
— KIRA
"That's because I leave them alone, they leave me alone."
— BAREIL

RESURRECTION
"I've always prefered to believe in nothing; that way, I'm never disappointed."
— BAREIL
96 96 STATISTICAL PROBABILITIES
"I don't care if the odds are against us. If we're going to lose, then we're going to go down fighting, so that when our descendants someday rise up against the Dominion, they'll know what they're made of."
— SISKO, to BASHIR

THE MAGNIFICENT FERENGI
"If you think about it, medicine isn't that different from engineering. It's all about keeping things running, fixing broken parts."
— NOG, to ROM
97 97 THE MAGNIFICENT FERENGI
"A child, a moron, a failure, and a psychopath. Quite a little team you've put together."
— BRUNT, to QUARK

THE MAGNIFICENT FERENGI
"This is the eighth run-through, and you haven't been able to hit a single Jem'Hadar, and you shot Moogie."
— NOG
"I saw we weren't going to rescue her, so I put her out of her misery."
— LECK
98 98 WALTZ
"You know. Old Man, sometimes life seems so complicated. Nothing is truly good or truly evil. Everything seems to be a shade of gray. And then you spend some time with a man like Dukat, and you realize that there is such a thing as truly evil."
— SiSKO
"To realize that is one thing. To do something about it is another."
— DAX

CHANGE OF HEART
"I have a sense of humor! On the Enterprise I was considered to be quite amusing."
— WORF
"That must have been one dull ship."
— DAX
"That is a joke, I get it. It is not funny, but I get it."
— WORF
99 99 IN THE PALE MOONLIGHT
"Thank you for restoring my faith in the 98th Rule of Acquisition: 'Every man has his price.' "
— QUARK, to SISKO

IN THE PALE MOONLIGHT
"So you're the commander of Deep Space Nine. And the Emissary to the Prophets. Decorated combat officer, widower, father, mentor and, oh yes, the man who started the war with the Dominion. Somehow I thought vou'd be taller."
— VREENAK, to SISKO
100 100 HIS WAY
"What does fun have to do with Maior Kira?"
— ODO
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that."
— VIC FONTAINE

VALIANT
"You don't understand because you've never put on one of these uniforms. You don't know anything about sacrifice or honor or duty or any other things that make up a soldier's life. I'm part of something larger than myself. All you care about is you."
— NOG, to JAKE
101 101 TIME'S ORPHAN
"I am a Klingon warrior and a Starfleet officer. I have piloted starships through Dominion mine fields. I have stood in battle against Kelvans twice my size. I courted and won the heart of the magnificent Jadzia Dax. If I can do these things, I can make this child go to sleep."
— WORF, to DAX

THE SOUND OF HER VOICE
"If you're going to do something, do it right. That's what my father used to say."
— KASIDY YATES
"Every father says that. Even I say that."
— SISKO
"That's why you're [a] good parent. You know all the cliches by heart."
— KASIDY YATES
102 102 TEARS OF THE PROPHETS
"When I first met you, you told me that my relationship with Jadzia Dax wouldn't be any different than the one I had with Curzon Dax. Things didn't work out that way. I had a helluva lot of fun with both of you. But Curzon was my mentor. You...you were my friend. And I am going to miss you."
— SISKO, to DAX, mourning her death

TEARS OF THE PROPHETS
"Romulans don't believe in luck."
— LETANT
"All the better. Leaves more for the rest of us."
— MARTOK
103 103 AFTERIMAGE
"Ensign."
— WORF
"Ensign? That's all you have to say to me?"
— EZRI
"What more is there to say?"
— WORF
"I was your wife!"
— EZRI
"You are not Jadzia. Jadzia died and went to Sto-Vo-Kor. | do not know you. Nor do I wish to know you."
— WORF

AFTERIMAGE
"It's a strange sensation, dying. No matter how many times it happens to you, you never get used to it."
— EZRI DAX
104 104 AFTERIMAGE
"You can be very charming. You want to know something? If Worf hadn't come along, it wouid have been you."
— EZRI, to BASHIR

AFTERIMAGE
"I don't need someone to walk in here and hold my hand. I want someone to help me get back to work and you, my dear are not up to this task. I mean, look at you. You're pathetic. A confused child trying to live up to a legacy left by her predecessors. You're not worthy of the name Dax. I knew Jadzia. She was vital, alive. She owned herself, and you, you don't even know who you are. How dare you presume to help me? You can't even help yourself. Now get out of here, before I say something unkind."
— GARAK
105 105 INTER ARMA ENIM SILENT LEGES
" 'In times of war the law falls silent.' Cicero. So, is that what we have become - a 24th Century Rome - driven by nothing other than the certainty that Caesar can do no wrong?"
— BASHIR

THE SIEGE OF AR-558
"Let me tell you something about humans, nephew. They're a wonderful, friendly people as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts; deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers; put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same, friendly, intelligent, wonderful people will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty Klingon."
— QUARK, to NOG
106 106 THE DOGS OF WAR
"I'm not going to preside over the demise of Ferengi civilization. Not me. The line has to be drawn here - this far and no further."
— QUARK

WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND
"That man loves me."
— QUARK, referring to ODO
107 107 WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND
"I will be there, but I will not dance!"
— WORF

WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND
"I am their Emissary, and they still have a great deal for me to do."
— SISKO
108 108 WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND
"Please, tell everyone I'll miss them."
— ODO
"Even Quark?"
— KIRA
"Even Quark."
— ODO

WHAT YOU LEAVE BEHIND
"It's like I said, the more things change, the more they stay the same."
— QUARK, uttering the last spoken line of the serles
