Diamond Select/EMCE Retro Figures

EMCE Toys partnered with Diamond Select to produce a range of replicas of the 1970s MEGO figures from the 1970s. These were package with similar cards but had completely sealed blisters surrounding the whole of the cards. Some brand new figures were produced, including Khan, Sulu, Chekov, Pike, Salt Vampire, Mirror Kirk and Spock, and Picard and the Borg from TNG. Of the original 14 Mego figures produced the Neptunian and Talos were omitted from this repro lineup. The Gorn figure is the only one that had significant changes from the original MEGO.

The EMCE logo borrows heavily from the design of the older MEGO logo.
