CARETAKER (Part One)
EPISODE 101
Captain's Log, Stardate 48315.6. With our newly assigned crew members aboard. the U.S.S. VOYAGER departed Deep Space Nine for the Badlands. We're searching for a lost Maquis ship which counts among its crew my Chief of Security, Lieutenant Tuvok, assigned to infiltrate this renegade vessel. The Cardassians claim they forced the Maquis ship into a plasma storm which destroyed it, but so far our probes scan no sign of debris. |
11 |
|
CARETAKER (Part One)
EPISODE 101
Captain's Log, Supplemental. A subspace displacement wave hurled VOYAGER into the Delta Quadrant, 70,000 light years from home. We've sustained extensive damage and heavy casualties. Among the dead is my first officer Cavit and the Chief Medical Officer. The deserted Maquis ship and VOYAGER orbit a massive alien Array. Just after we activated the Emergency Medical Holographic Program, crew members, including myself, were teleported to the interior of the Array. |
12 |
|
CARETAKER (Part One)
EPISODE 101
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Inside the Array we found a holographic projection of a rural American farm, complete with country folk, including an old man playing a banjo. Exploring the barn, we discovered a chamber where the Maquis were subjected to inhuman experiments. We, too, were subiected to these horrific tests, then awoke back on VOYAGER. Ensign Harry Kim is missing, and The Maquis commander Chakotay reports that a B'Elanna Torres is missing from his crew. We've agreed to cooperate and investigate. |
13 |
|
CARETAKER (Part Two)
EPISODE 102
Captain's Log, Stardate 48315.6. The Array is firing energy pulses to the fifth planet of the neighboring system. It's a Class-M world that suffered some kind of extraordinary environmental disaster. Enroute to that planet to investigate, we encountered a new life form, a Talaxian named Neelix. He informs us that our missing crew members have been kidhapped by "The Caretaker" and sent to the Ocampa people of this planet. He's agreed to help us, if we supply him with a precious commodity—water. |
14 |
|
CARETAKER (Part Two)
EPISODE 102
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Neelix used us to rescue his companion, an Ocampa woman named Kes, who was held by the Kazon-Ogla. Kes agreed to take us to the underground world of her people to find our crew members. We learned Kim and Torres escaped shortly before our arrival. Tuvok deduced that the old man at The Array, The Caretaker, is dying and the energy pulses are to provide the Ocampa with an energy surplus after he dies. The Caretaker has sealed the energy conduits to protect the Ocampa from the Kazon-Ogla. We found Kim and Torres and returned to VOYAGER. |
15 |
|
CARETAKER (Part Two)
EPISODE 102
Captain's Log, Supplemental. The Kazon attacked VOYAGER. The dying Caretaker informed us our kidnapping was his means of finding compatible genetic material in an attempt to create a new Caretaker for the Ocampa. Chakotay sacrificed his ship to save us from the Kazon. To protect the Ocampa, we destroyed the Array, our only way back to the Alpha Quadrant. Chakotay and I agree that if we're to survive, we must merge into one crew—a Starfleet crew. Going at maximum speeds, it will take us 75 years to reach home—but somehow, somewhere, we will find another way back. |
16 |
|
PARALLAX
EPISODE 103
Captain's Log, Stardate 48439.7. As we maintain a course back to the Alpha Quadrant, we're conducting what would normally be routine maintenance to the ship—if we had access to a starbase. After an encounter with a jolting spatial distortion—a Type Four quantum singularity, we received a distress call from a ship trapped in the event horizon. Chakotay broke protocol and consulted with his recommendation for Chief Engineer, Torres, instead of Starfleet Senior Engineer Lieutenant Carey. |
17 |
|
PARALLAX
EPISODE 103
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Our rescue attempt failed, and we became trapped as well. Lieutenant Torres suggested setting up a damping field around our external sensors, so we could communicate with the other trapped ship. Her solution only revealed the bitter truth—the distress call was my opening hail. The other ship is a time-delayed reflection of us. I spoke to Torres about the position of Chief Engineer. Bitter about her Starfleet experiences to date, she needs more self-discipline for the job. |
18 |
|
PARALLAX
EPISODE 103
Captain's Log, Supplemental. To escape the event horizon, Lieutenant Torres proposed we saturate it with warp particles to exit through the rupture we made when we entered. Since the warp engines would further shrink the opening, I took Torres with me in a shuftlecraft to fire a dekyon beam to widen it. During the mission, Torres displayed remarkable skill and improved self-control. Based on her performance, I decided to follow Chakotay's recommendation and appoint Torres as Chief Engineer. |
19 |
|
TIME and AGAIN
EPISODE 104
Captain's Log, Supplemental. The ship has been struck by a shock wave from a Class-M planet in a red dwarf system we're passing through. I led an Away Team mission to the surface. We discovered that a chain reaction in the planet's polaric ion power generators obliterated all organic life on the planet. Lieutenant Paris and I were caught in a temporal flux caused by residual subspace fractures, and reappeared in the same place one day earlier—the day before the explosion. |
20 |
|
TIME and AGAIN
EPISODE 104
First Officer's Log, Supplemental. There's been no sign of Captain Janeway or Lieutenant Paris since they were lost in a subspace fracture. We believe that the fracture dissipates into the past, before the explosion occurs. We're activating a polaric generator to open a fracture wide enough for them to return through. Kes seems to have an empathic ability to sense that Janeway was here, in the past, and if the device works, we'll be able to contact and return the Captain and Lieutenant Paris. |
21 |
|
TIME and AGAIN
EPISODE 104
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Voyager is passing through a red dwarf system with a Class-M planet. Kes reported a premonition that everyone on the planet was killed in a terrible explosion, but our sensor scans show humanoid life. It appears to be a pre-warp civilization, which means as a policy we don't involve ourselves in their affairs. We entered the planet's coordinates into the log and are maintaining our present heading at Warp Six. |
22 |
|
PHAGE
EPISODE 105
Captain's Log, Stardate 48532.4. We're on our way to a rogue planetoid which Mister Neelix tells us is an extremely rich source of raw dilithium. If he's right, this could go a long way toward easing our power shortage. I've given Lieutenant Torres permission to convert the auxiliary impulse reactor into a crude dilithium refinery. The Away Team will beam into the subterranean caves, where they will perform a preliminary geological analysis. I've granted Neelix permission to go along. |
23 |
|
PHAGE
EPISODE 105
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Neelix was attacked. We don't know how it happened, but someone has surgically removed his lungs. The Doctor is keeping him alive with holographic lungs. I led an Away Team into the caves, where we discovered a biological repository. Two aliens fled from us and beamed up to their ship, which just left the planet. We're in pursuit at maximum warp. |
24 |
|
PHAGE
EPISODE 105
Captain's Log, Supplemental. We tracked the alien ship to a large chamber inside an asteroid. The aliens are from the Vidiian Sodality, a people afflicted with a terrible plague called the Phage. They harvest organs and graft them into their own bodies. They already implanted Neelix's lungs, so Kes volunteered one of her lungs for a transplant. I warned the Vidiians that I will do whatever is necessary to protect my people from any further harvesting. |
25 |
|
THE CLOUD
EPISODE 106
Captain's Personal Log, Stardate 48546.2. Our journey home is several weeks old now. And I have begun to notice in my crew, and in myself, a subtle change as the reality of our situation settles in. Here, in the Delta Quadrant, we are virtually the entire family of Man. We are more than a crew. And I must find a way to be more than a Captain to these people. But it's not clear to me exactly how to begin. |
26 |
|
THE CLOUD
EPISODE 106
Captain's Log, Supplemental. We detected on long-range sensors a nebula emanating unusually high levels of omnicron particles. These particles would provide us with an additional antimalter reserve, so l ordered VOYAGER into the nebula to collect them. We penetrated an energy barrier to enter the nebula, but globules began attaching to the ship and draining our power. I was forced to fire a photon torpedo to free us from the nebula. |
27 |
|
THE CLOUD
EPISODE 106
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Analysis showed that what we encountered was not a nebula at all, but a spacefaring lifeform. Our penetration of the cloud injured the creature, so we had a moral obligation to repair the damage. Acting upon a suggestion from the Holographic Doctor, we used the ship as an energy conduit to suture the wound. We set out to augment our energy reserves and wound up depleting them by over 20%. So much for raising spirits. |
28 |
|
EYE of the NEEDLE
EPISODE 107
Captain's Log, Stardate 48579.4. We've detected evidence of a spatial anomaly that may be a wormhole. It registers only on sub-space bands. We are detecting verteron emanations and tunneling secondary particles. If the wormhole is stable enough for us to enter, there is a 25% chance that it will return us to the Alpha Quadrant and home. Although exploring it means a significant course change, any chance to return home is worth the risk. |
29 |
|
EYE of the NEEDLE
EPISODE 107
Captain's Log, Supplemental. The wormhole was virtually microscopic, with an aperture of only 30 centimeters. We launched a microprobe into the wormhole to use as a relay in transmitting a message out the other end. The message reached a Romulan scientist named Telek, who strongly doubts the plight of our situation. After establishing a visual link, he's agreed to relay messages from the crew to their families. |
30 |
|
EYE of the NEEDLE
EPISODE 107
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Lieutenant Torres devised a means to piggy-back a transporter beam signal onto the visual link with Telek. The Romulan beamed aboard, saw for himself our desperate situation, and took with him our recordings. Tuvok discovered that the wormhole had gone through a temporal shift, and Telek was from almost 20 years in our past. After Telek departed, Tuvok revealed that Telek died in 2367, four years ago. We can only hope that our messages were delivered. |
31 |
|
EX POST FACTO
EPISODE 108
Captain's Log, Supplemental. VOYAGER has suffered a damaged collimator, which affects our navigational array. Mr. Neelix recommends that we contact the Banea, whose homeworld is in a nearby star system. The Banea are at war with the Numiri, so I've decided not to take the ship into orbit. Instead, I will send Lieutenant Paris and Ensign Kim in a shultle, to avoid detection by Numiri patrols. I have no intention of being drawn into their conflict. |
32 |
|
EX POST FACTO
EPISODE 108
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Ensign Kim returned alone, after interrogation by the Baneans. The Baneans convicted Mr. Paris of murdering an engineering physicist named Tolen Ren, their Minister of Science. The Baneans can isolate memory engrams in the brain, and Ren's showed Mr. Paris killing him. As punishment, the Baneans planted the memory in Mr. Paris' brain and force him to relive the death every 14 hours. I've assigned Mr. Tuvok to investigate. |
33 |
|
EX POST FACTO
EPISODE 108
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Mr. Tuvok used a Vulcan mind-meld to relive the murder with Mr. Paris. He saw symbols and numbers taken from Ren's weapons research. A Banean doctor and Ren's wife intended to use Mr. Paris to smuggle this information to the Numiri, who tried to ambush the shuttle as it returned to VOYAGER. The Baneans removed Mr. Paris' implants and the real culprit has been taken into custody. |
34 |
|
EMANATIONS
EPISODE 109
Captain's Log, Stardate 48623.5. We discovered the 247th element known to Federation science, inside the ring system of a Class-D planet, a stable transuranic element in a natural environment. Mined, the element could build probe casings that could go into the core of a sun, or ultra-thin reactor shielding. An Away Team comprised of Commander Chakotay, Lieutenant Torres and Ensign Kim were exploring the rings when a subspace vacuole opened. We retrieved Chakotay and Torres, but an alien female materialized instead of Ensign Kim. |
35 |
|
EMANATIONS
EPISODE 109
Captain's Log, Supplemental. The woman, Ptera, came from the Vhnori Homeworld. Those about to die are placed in a cenotaph, which transports them into this ring system. The Vhnori believe they're going to the "Next Emanation." We tried to send Ptera back to her dimension, but she died when the vacuole collapsed during transport. |
36 |
|
EMANATIONS
EPISODE 109
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Lieutenant Torres found a way to temporarily protect the warp core against the vacuoles, but was uncertain how long her measures would be effective. As we prepared to move VOYAGER away from the ring system, Mr. Kim traded places with a Vhnori scheduled to die and used the cenotaph in an attempt to return to us. His body materialized on Deck 12, and we revived him. I've taken him off duty for the next few days to let him adjust to this extraordinary experience. |
37 |
|
PRIME FACTORS
EPISODE 110
Captain's Log, Supplemental. We've received a gracious invitation from a Gathorel Labin of the Planet Sikaris. Hearing of our plight, he sought us out to invite us to his homeworld and enjoy the hospitality of his people. It's a beautiful planet, and the Sikarians have been exceptionally generous. They especially enjoy literature, and our tales of exploration. But there's work to be done. I've organized teams to gather plants and seeds we can grow on our journey. |
38 |
|
PRIME FACTORS
EPISODE 110
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Ensign Kim discovered that the Sikarians have a device called a Spatial Trajector which allows them to travel to all the planets in this quadrant. Although it could Transport VOYAGER 40,000 light-years closer to home, the Sikarians will not allow us to use it. Their Canon of Laws, similar to our own Prime Directive. strictly forbids sharing their technology with other species. I plan to offer Gath an exchange—our library of literature for the Trajector. |
39 |
|
PRIME FACTORS
EPISODE 110
Captain's Log, Supplemental. I am saddened to report that several of my officers clandestinely exchanged our library for the Trajector with one Sikarian, after the Sikarian leaders refused my offer. The device was incompatible with our systems, and nearly caused a warp core breach.
I have warned Torres and Tuvok that no further transgressions will be tolerated. Although I am deeply disappointed in my senior officers, I do not have the luxury of throwing them in the brig. I need every person on this ship. |
40 |
|
STATE of FLUX
EPISODE 111
Captain's Log, Stardate 48658.2. We detected a Kazon-Nistrim ship in orbit around a planet where our Away Team was harvesting consumables. Commander Chakotay was slightly wounded in a firefight, but was rescued by Ensign Seska and the Away Team returned to VOYAGER without harm. Now we're receiving a distress call from the same ship. Sensor scans show a possible reactor breakdown on board. I've sent an Away Team to their bridge to render assistance. |
41 |
|
STATE of FLUX
EPISODE 111
Captain's Log, Supplemental. The Away Team found high levels of nucleonic radiation, and remains containing residue of a neosorium composite, which is used only by the Federation. Someone on VOYAGER covertly gave our technology to the Kazon-Nistrim. Tuvok's investigation shows that the leading suspects are Mr. Carey and Ensign Seska. One survivor was recovered and beamed to our Sickbay: perhaps he can identify our traitor. |
42 |
|
STATE of FLUX
EPISODE 111
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Ensign Seska has betrayed us. The Doctor's examination of Seska showed that she is in fact an altered Cardassian. Seska said she intended to form an alliance with the Kazon-Nistrim, hoping to change the balance of power in this quadrant in our favor. Seska escaped to a waiting Kazon-Nistrim ship, using a security lockout transporter command. With three Kazon warships on our tail, we'll have to wait for another day to settle up with Sesha. |
43 |
|
HEROES and DEMONS
EPISODE 112
Captain's Log, Stardate 48693.2. We altered course to investigate some unusually intense photonic activity in a nearby protostar. We beamed aboard samples for further analysis. In the first altempt, there was a slight breach in the annular confinement beam. Shortly thereafter, we discovered that Ensign Kim was missing. His last shift ended four hours ago, and he was scheduled for time in Holodeck Two when he went off duty. No one has seen him since. |
44 |
|
HEROES and DEMONS
EPISODE 112
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Chakotay and Tuvok have now been lost in the Holodeck as well. Mr. Kim had been running "Beowulf," about a hero who fights a creature terrorizing a kingdom. The program characters say that Kim was killed by the creature Grendel. We believe that the transporter breach leaked photonic energy into the Holodeck, converting our officers into energy. Our only hope is to send in our Holographic Doctor, who should be able to survive the malfunction. |
45 |
|
HEROES and DEMONS
EPISODE 112
Captain's Log, Stardate 48710.5. The Doctor encountered the Beowulf program characters. and discovered that the leaked photonic energy was in fact Grendel. Tricorder readings showed a synaptic pattern, indicating that it was part of a life form's neural net. We released the captured samples to "Grendel," who in turn returned our officers. Since the return of our missing crewmen, we've been unable to locate any further traces of the photonic aliens. |
46 |
|
CATHEXIS
EPISODE 113
Captain's Log, Stardate 48734.2. Our shultlecraft has returned badly damaged from a trade mission with the Ilidarians. Mr. Tuvok has a serious concussion which can be healed, but Chakotay is apparently brain-dead— someone drained the energy from every single axon and dendrite. Tuvok reports that an unidentified ship emerged from a dark matter nebula and attacked our shuttle. We're going back to the nebula to try to find the ship that attacked them. |
47 |
|
CATHEXIS
EPISODE 113
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Long-range sensors show the nebula emitting strong electromagnetic radiation. We won't be able to scan inside it. Our ship suddenly went off course, then the warp core shut down. It appears that an unknown alien entity has been taking control of crew members' minds to stop us from returning to the nebula. Since it can apparently control only organic beings. I've transferred all command codes to the Holographic Doctor. |
48 |
|
CATHEXIS
EPISODE 113
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Tuvok locked out the Doctor's initialization routine, and we later discovered that he'd also erased the shuttle's logs. There was no ship. Tuvok's mind was occupied by a trianic-based energy being from the Komar. But a second presence—Chakotay, in energy form—has been placing obstacles in his path by entering our minds. I used a magneton flash-scan to drive the alien from Tuvok. Most importantly, the Doctor has successfully reintegrated Chakotay's consciousness into his body. |
49 |
|
FACES
EPISODE 114
Captain's Log, Stardate 48784.2. We have completed our survey of the Avery System, and are returning to retrieve Lieutenants Paris, Torres and Durst. By now, they should have concluded their inspection of the magnesite formations on the third planet. But the Away Team hasn't arrived at the pre-arranged coordinates and fails to respond to our hails. Chakotay is leading a team to investigate. |
50 |
|
FACES
EPISODE 114
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Chakotay's Away Team encountered a forcefield with an energy configuration virtually identical to those used by the Vidiians. After encountering several of the aliens, the Away Team returned to the ship. The forcefield surrounds an area more than six hundred kilometers in circumference. Apparently the Vidiians adapted their field to repulse phaser fire. But if the Vidiians can get in and out of there, so can we. |
51 |
|
FACES
EPISODE 114
Captain's Log, Supplemental. We penetrated the forcefield by narrowing the transporter beam to pass through a microfissure in the field. I sent in Chakotay, disguised as a Vidiian. Durst was killed, but Paris and Torres survived. A Vidiian experiment split Torres into two separate entities—one Human, one Klingon. The Klingon died in the rescue attempt, but our Doctor managed to reintegrate that genetic material into the Human's cellular structure, restoring B'Elanna to her former half-Klingon, half-Human self. |
52 |
|
JETREL
EPISODE 115
Captain's Log, Stardate 48832.1. A Haakonian named Dr. Ma'Bor Jetrel contacted us requesting to see Neelix. The Haakonians conquered Talaxia 15 years ago, using a weapon Jetrel designed called the Metreon Cascade to vaporize the people on the moon Rinax. Jetrel wants to examine Neelix to see if he is suffering from metremia, a fatal blood disease contracted by rescue workers on Rinax. Jetrel hopes that his research will lead to a cure. Neelix is understandably reluctant to trust Doctor Jetrel. |
53 |
|
JETREL
EPISODE 115
Captain's Log, Supplemental. Neelix finally agreed to the examination. The result, unfortunately, showed that Neelix has incipient metremia. I've granted Jetrel's request to use our transporters to retrieve a sample of the Metreon cloud surrounding Rinax. He believes that if he can isolate the free isotope that causes metremia, it could be used to synthesize an antibody. |
54 |
|
JETREL
EPISODE 115
Captain's Log, Stardate 48840.5. Jetrel hasn't been entirely honest with us. Neelix doesn't have metremia, but Jetrel does. The true nature of his research was to use the transporter to reconstitute the vaporized victims on Rinax by regenerative fusion. The experiment, sadly, failed. Dr. Jetrel's metremia is now in its final stage. He's spending his remaining hours in Sickbay, in the company of Mister Neelix. |
55 |
|
LEARNING CURVE
EPISODE 116
Captain's Log, Stardate 48859.3. We've had an unexpected malfunction of a bio-neural gel pack. They have an extremely reliable track record, and they're almost impossible to damage. Lieutenant Torres is running an analysis. We have only 47 in reserve, and they run half the critical systems on the ship. Mr. Tuvok has brought to my attention that several former Maquis are having difficulty adjusting to Starfleet life. I've assigned him to train them in Starfleet operations. |
56 |
|
LEARNING CURVE
EPISODE 116
Captain's Log, Supplemental. More gel packs have malfunctioned. Lieutenant Torres is working with the Doctor, who found that the biological component of the units have a contagious infection. We must find its source to stop it from spreading. Regarding the training problem, Mr. Tuvok has scheduled a war game simulation on the Holodeck, hoping that an exercise in teamwork will help instill a sense of participation among his trainees. |
57 |
|
LEARNING CURVE
EPISODE 116
Captain's Log, Supplemental. The source of the bacteria was Neelix's brill cheese made from schplict. Its fumes entered a ventilation duct and spread throughout the ship. As our bio-neural net began to fail, the only way to wipe out the infection was to superheat the gel pack system. We generated the heat by inverting the warp field toward the ship. Tuvok and his cadets, trapped in the cargo bay and facing a toxic gas leak, worked together to rescue themselves. I feel confident that all of the Maquis and Starfleet personnel on VOYAGER will forge an outstanding crew. |

AKOONAH
Part of the medicine bundle Chakotay carries, the Akoonah is a 24th century technological tool to help facilitate other states of mind, previously accessible only by psychoactive herds. A hand-held Personal Access Display Device, the Akoonah pulses with light and rhythm, helping the user focus on inner states of being. |
65 |
|
SIMS BEACON
Standard issue for Starfleet personnel, the Sims Beacon is a wrist attachment flashlight of high wattage that enables the crew member to search in dark environments while keeping both hands free. The Beacon is encased in a strong alloy to function in almost any environment. |
66 |
|
VIDIIAN ORGAN REMOVER
Combining highly sophisticated quantum imaging scanners, neural resonators and transporter technology, this device enables the user to learn everything about its victim's anatomy, even to the details of DNA sequencing. After probing, the device removes the organs for transplantation into awaiting Vidiians. |
67 |
|
MEMORY ENGRAMS
For legal disputes, the Baneans have developed technology capable of isolating memory engrams from the last moments of a person's life. If the accused is found guilty, the engrams are transferred into the perpetrator's brain, where they relive the memories of their victim's last moments over and over again. |
68 |
|
TRANSPORTER TEST CYLINDER
Standard Starfleet mechanism used for testing transporter technology. The cylinder contains a varietal molecular matrix, capable of simulating most known organic and non organic compounds, to see if beaming will harm a material in question. |
69 |
|
CENOTAPH
The Vhnori used the cenotaph to terminate a person's life functions just before the regular appearance of a subspace vacuole, which they called spectral ruptures. They believed the cenotaph helped transport the person to the "Next Emanation" or afterlife. In reality, it transported the dead body to an asteroid belt in the Delta Quadrant. |
70 |
|
SPATIAL TRAJECTOR
The Sikarians developed technology which allowed them to fold space, enabling them to teleport almost forty thousand light years in an instant. The field is focused and amplified by Sikaris' mantle of natural tetrahedral quartz, making the technology useless unless on or in orbit around Sikaris. |

|
METREON REGENERATIVE FUSION
After the bio-molecular disintegration of the inhabitants of Rinax by the Metreon Cascade, the disassembled bio matter hung in a cloud above the planet. Doctor Jetrel attempted to reintegrate the bio-particles with Regenerative Fusion. It failed, and he was unable to resurrect the people of Rinax. |
72 |
|
BIO-NEURAL GEL PACK
Bio neural gel packs utilize organic components to help process information faster than standard isolinear chips. Although this gives U.S.S. VOYAGER an almost "think-for-itself" capability, the biological components are also more vulnerable to organic threats than standard computer equipment. |

QUANTUM SINGULARITY
EPISODE 103
STARDATE: 48439.7
The intense gravimetric pressures within the singularity, the swirling accretion of matter around the event horizon and the time distortions caused by this phenomenon prevent U.S.S. VOYAGER from recognizing the ghostly, warped image as the time delayed reffection of themselves. Once in the singularity itself, the distortion is cleared up by the crew's localized damping field, the viewscreen allows them to see the reflected U.S.S. VOYAGER even as they hear the captain's opening hail. |
74 |
|
THE CLOUD
EPISODE 106
STARDATE: 48546.2
Entering what appeared to be the vaporous perimeter of a nebula, U.S.S. VOYAGER is halted at an energy membrane. Penetrating at maximum thrusters, the ship reaches open space. Behind them the membrane closes and the second time they try to breach it, it won't be crossed until a photon torpedo creates a breach. |
75 |
|
PHAGE MIRROR ASTEROID
EPISODE 105
STARDATE: 48532.4
Closing in on the Vidiian ship, U.S.S. VOYAGER enters an asteroid with a multi-faceted mirrored interior. The reflective surface confuses the U.S.S. VOYAGER scanners with electromagnetic interference, preventing the crew from determining which alien ship is the real one. Using the phasers at low intensity, the reflected beam of energy pinpoints the Vidiian ship. |

TRACTOR BEAM
EPISODE 108
STARDATE: NOT GIVEN
The investigation by Tuvok to clear Lieutenant Paris of the murder charges on Banea takes a dangerous twist when Paris and Kim are sent via shuttle back to Banea. The Banean's enemies, the Numiri, tractor the shuttle and board it, looking for the encoded information their agent placed in Paris' mind. The U.S.S. VOYAGER beams them out, leaving the Numiri with a shuttle loaded with 40 tons of thalmerite explosives. |

TELEK
EPISODE 107
STARDATE: 48579.4
U.S.S. VOYAGER has its first contact with [the] Alpha Quadrant since entering the Delta Quadrant with a Romulan scientist on a lonely three year mission. At first suspicious, he agrees to try beaming a test cylinder, then himself through the wormhole probe. He also agrees to relay the U.S.S. VOYAGER crew's messages to their families. Unfortunately, Tuvok discovers Telek is from 20 years in the past. |

GRENDEL
EPISODE 112
STARDATE: 48693.2
After Torres tarnsported photonic matter aboard U.S.S. VOYAGER, Kim, Tuvok, and Chakotay disappear from the holodeck. RINAX
EPISODE 115
STARDATE: 48832.1
The home colony of Neelix was destroyed by the Metreon Cascade, a deadly bio-molecular weapon. Dr. Jetrel informs the crew that the cloud hanging above Rinax is actually the dematerialized bio particles of Rinar's victims and he has developed technology to try and reintegrate them and restore them to life. |

GATHOREL LABIN
EPISODE 110
STARDATE: NOT GIVEN
Answering a distress call, U.S.S. VOYAGER encounters Gathorel Labin of the Sikarians. He explains that the distress call was for them … that U.S.S. VOYAGER was in distress, not him. Gath invites the crew to his planet, to offer them hospitality and in exchange hear their stories. |

COSMIC ANTIBODIES
EPISODE 106
STARDATE: 48546.2
Globules af matter envelop U.S.S. VOYAGER and begin to drain the power. Made of a non-reactive material, the power drain can't be stopped and even reversing shield polarity doesn't help. The ship slams through the energy barier with the help of a photon torpedo. The cloud is actually a life form and the globules its equivalent of antibodies! |

KAZON DESERT
Over 500 generations ago, the Caretaker's technology accidentally laid waste to the planet's surface. No oceans or rivers remain. A Class-M planet in all other respects, its atmosphere contains no nucleogenic particles, making the atmosphere incapable of producing clouds or rain. On the southern continent, the Kazon-Ogla live harsh lives among the arid desert terrain. They mine and barter with other Kazon the rich cormaline deposits which the planet boasts. |
83 |
|
OCAMPAN UNDERGROUND
Beautiful but sterile, the underground compound the Caretaker provided for the Ocampa is devoid of organic life, even grass or plants. Anti-grav people movers and escalators carry the Ocampa everywhere. Even the startling architecture is bleak, using only gray and silver in its palette. Tunnels to the desert surface are protected by lethal
force fields. |
84 |
|
TIME AND AGAIN PLANET
This Class-M planet is located in a red dwarf system. Its land is barren and the skies are overcast because of a polaric detonation. The civilization built their livelihood on polaric energy, and where previously had been organic life was only dark waste. After U.S.S. VOYAGER revised the time stream, it returned to a healthy pre-warp civilization. |
85 |
|
VIDIIAN ASTERDID
Inside the asteroid base of the Vidiians, the walls are made of a highly reflective material that gives off electromagnetic interference that inhibits scans. The chamber also contains a dampening field device that drains power directly from warp nacelles. Using low-level phasers, U.S.S. VOYAGER was able to detect the real Vidiian ship among the many reflections. |
86 |
|
BANEAN HOMEWORLD
A Class-M planet, the Banean Homeworld possesses one moon, whose orbit brought it into eclipse with the sun four years before U.S.S. VOYAGER arrived there. The dominant life form, bipedal humanoids, physically resemble humans except for a feathery growth that intertwines with the hair on their scalp. The Baneans and their Numiri neighbors are involved in a bitter war. |
87 |
|
STATE OF FLUX PLANET
An unnamed world in the Kazon-Nistrim territory, it hosts a variety of flora and fauna common to the rest of the quadrant – bloodworms, the Leola root and the beautiful but deadly Kaylos fruit. The jungle area is also riddled with caverns, in which the Kazon ambushed Chakotay as the U.S.S. VOYAGER Away Team scouted the terrain. |

SESKA
A Cardassian surgically altered to look Bajoran, Seska joined the Maquis and became Chakotay's consort for a time. Angered by Janeway's decision to destroy the Array, their only chance to return to Alpha Quadrant, Seska began to look for ways home herself. Eventually, this led to an alliance with the Kazon-Nistrim. Confronted with her betrayal, Seska beamed onto the Kazon vessel where she is no doubt plotting another way home… without U.S.S. VOYAGER. |

|
TELEK
Suspicious as any Romulan, Telek R'Mor naturally disbelieved the signal from a dying wormhole could be from a lost ship in the Deta Quadrant. Captain Janeway convinced him they were no threat. Rather than have Federation officers on board his vessel, he beamed through the wormhole to test Torees' transporter signal relay. Tuvok discovered Telek was from 20 years in their past. He promised to deliver messages to their families, but he died before U.S.S. VOYAGER launched. |

|
GATHOREL LABIN
The Sikarians are a race of people whose primary goal is pleasure and enjoyment. Gathorel Labin is gallant and as romantic a specimen of the Sikarians as any, and attracted to Janeway from the moment they met. But Janenway quickly realized that for Gath, imnmediate gratification was the only thing that mattered and he would soon tire of any intimate relationship. As she realized this, he became cold and distant - perhaps more his true self than any hedonistic facade. |

DR. NERIA
Chief Thanatologist of the cenotaph facility Ensign Kim wakes up in, Dr. Neria is fascinated by Kim's presence. The Vhnori believe they die, then reappear in the next "Emanation" to be reunited with their deceased family. At first, Neria believes Kim has come from the afterlife. After he realizes Kim is simphy an alien, he wants Kim removed to a more secure facility, away from people who believe Kim's appearance threatens their spiritual beliefs. |

SULAN
Sulan is the Chief Surgeon of the Vidiian Sodality, committed to finding a cure for the phage ravaging the Vidiian people. Infatuated with B'Elanna's strength and vitality after he infects her Klingon form with the phage, Sulan realizes he disgusts her, and grafts her crewmate Durst's face onto his own. As she and her human counterpart escape, he fires on her, accidentally killing the Klingon B'Elanna - the one person that might have saved his race. |

|
JETREL
Dr. Ma'Bor Jetrel, wracked by guilt over the destructive military use of his invention, the Metreon Cascade, developed a method of regenerative fusion. He hoped to reconstitute the victims he'd inadvertently killed on the moon Rinax. Dying of metremia, the after-effects of the Cascade, he used U.S.S. VOYAGER to carry him to Rinax to test his fusion, but it failed and he died soon afterwards. Before his death, he managed to make peace with Neelix, whose family had died on Rinax. |
S-7 |
|
JABIN
Maje of the Kazon-Ogla, Jabin refused to help the U.S.S. VOYAGER crew find their missing members, or release Kes, who appeared badly abused by his tribe. He attempted to gain the technology of the Caretaker's Array far his own people by mounting a battle with U.S.S. VOYAGER and the Maquis ship. Overpowered and helpless to stop Janeway from destroying the Array, he vowed vengeance against her and her crew. |

|
LIDELL
Married to the Banean Minister of Science, Tolen Ren, Lidell was much younger than her husband. She claimed to marry him because he was good to her while other men weren't. She quickly became bored and turned cold and self-destructive. Eventually, she became involved with Numiri spies on her world, and seduced Lieutenant Paris in an attempt to send her husband's weapons research to the Numiri, but Tuvok foiled the plan. |

|
TOSCAT
An elder of the colony, and like all Ocampa, Toscat has telepathic ablties and a life span of only nine years. He doesn't want to be rude to the aliens that have rescued Kes, but he does not want his people's way of life to change. He does not believe their ancestors to have had the mental powers rumored by legend. Kes defies him and leaves with the U.S.S. VOYAGER crew. |

First Officer Chakotay is a man who spans two cultures, one foot in each, belonging to both and yet to neither. Unwilling to forget his roots in the midst of Starfleet life, he is on a journey of self-discovery while the U.S.S. VOYAGER journeys home. A steady and fearless former captain for the Maquis, his inner strength inspires absolute devotion from those around him. |

|
Chief of Security Tuvok
Though much older than his commanding officer, Tuvok is a symbol of Vulcan vitality. His mixture of patience, maturity and wisdom make him the perfect peacekeeper and personal counsel to many of the young, inexperienced crew. Though constantly helping them to cope with being swept light years away from their homes and lives, he is most human-like when remembering his own family of children and grandchildren. |

|
Chief Engineer Torres
Half-Human and half-Klingon, Chief Engineer B'Elanna Torres is a living war, two souls and cultures locked in combat within her body. Raised by her Klingon mother, she yearns for reconciliation with her angry, uncontrolled Klingon identity. Lieutenant Tom Paris
Coming from a family rich with Starfleet history, Lieutenant Paris seemed destined for great success after the Academy. He showed great agility as a pilot, joining Starfleet after graduation. His fortunes turned, though, when he lied about an accident involving the deaths of three other pilots. Ironically, it was not the lie but his guilt-ridden confession that caused his dismissal from Starfleet, and that sense of honor is the reason Captain Janeway sought him out for this mission. |
P6 |
|
Ensign Harry Kim
It was with pride and anticipation that Harry Kim took the assignment aboard the U.S.S. VOYAGER as OPS Officer, assuming that it would be a brief sojourn before he returned to his family and their protective guidance. All that changed when the ship was displaced across the galaxy into the unexplored Delta Quadrant, leaving Kim and his shipmates with no casy way home. Now it will take all his Academy experience and discipline to survive this ordeal, along with a lot of support from the others. |

|
The Doctor
The Doctor is a model of medical knowledge and technique. Literally, he is part of the Emergency Medical Program, a holographic backup to the ship's doctor, possessing the accumulated knowledge of thousands of medical sources and doctors. Though designed in the likeness of his programmer, his bedside manner with the crew is less than human. Given the intensity of their shared adventure, though, it is no surprise that this hologram is learning a true concern and respect for his shipmates. |
P8 |
|
Kes
As an Ocampan, Kes is a tragic mix of potential and limitation. She has telepathic skills, and a staggering ability to learn and comprehend. Yet her race has a life span of only nine years. Fortunately, she is presently only one year old. To quench her infinite thirst for knowladge, she assists the ship's holographic doctor, whose ability to teach her is also unlimited. |
P9 |
|
Neelix
On a journey across the galaxy, you're bound to meet a few unique characters, particularly when passing through a debris field. Neelix, a Talaxian scavenger, sage and cook is a perfect example.
