Janeway wanted the best to staff Voyager. She assembled some of the most talented officers in Starfleet, including Ensign Harry Kim and her friend Tuvok. She also convinced Starfleet to release the imprisoned Tom Paris, a former Maquis member and the son of her first captain. |
J3 |
In the Badlands, Voyager and the Maquis vessel were hit by a displacement wave that sent both ships 70,000 light years away, to the other side of the Galaxy, the Delta Quadrant. The incident killed many crew members on both vessels but introduced them to a new species, the Ocampa. Janeway found her leadership tested much sooner than expected |
| J4 |
In the Delta Quadrant, Janeway encountered the Caretaker's Array, a powerful space station that provided energy to the Ocampa. Its advanced technology could have immediately sent the stranded Starfleet and Maquis crews home. However, Janeway ordered the array destroyed to prevent the dangerous Kazon from obtaining its technology. |
J5 |
70,000 light years from home, Janeway and her fellow Starfleet officers joined with the Maquis members to staff Voyager. Janeway gave the Maquis members important assignments such as making B'Elanna Torres Chief Engineer. They were joined by Voyager's emergency holographic Doctor, the Talaxian Neelix and an Ocampan named Kes. |
J6 |
Among the first species Janeway encountered in the Delta Quadrant were the Vidiians, whose society had been ravaged by "The Phage" disease. To survive, they harvested organs from other species, including some of Voyager's crew. Janeway tried diplomacy but was forced into combat to save her people. |
| J7 |
Although Janeway was mostly able to unite the Starfleet and Maquis crews, one officer, Seska, disagreed with Janeway's command decisions. A Cardassian disguised as a Bajoran to infiltrate the Maquis, Seska betrayed Janeway and joined the Kazon. Janeway sought peace with Seska and the Kazon, but Seska rebuffed her. |
J8 |
Learning that a group of humans were abducted from Earth in 1937, Janeway was shocked to discover Amelia Earhart, one of Earth's first female pilots and her personal hero, among them. Janeway shared a reflective moment with Earhart and offered her passage home on Voyager, but Earhart declined. |
J9 |
After nearly two years in the Delta Quadrant, Janeway faced a difficult moral dilemma. A transporter accident had merged Voyager crew members Tuvok and Neelix into one being, now known as Tuvix. Struggling with the decision, she ultimately took the risk to try to restore Neelix and Tuvok to their original states as individuals. The procedure succeeded. |
| J10 |
Forced to remain on a planet where they caught a terminal disease, Janeway and Chakotay received supplies from Voyager and began living off the land. Naming the planet New Earth, Janeway applied the skills she'd mastered on her family farm in order to survive. Later, Voyager, having disobeyed orders, returned with a cure and rescued the two. |
J11 |
When a dormant virus in his brain became active, Tuvok chose to mind meld with Janeway in the hopes that she could help him find a cure. Through the mind meld, Janeway experienced Tuvok's first posting aboard the U.S.S. Excelsior under command of Captain Hikaru Sulu, whom she admired. |
J12 |
As a child, Janeway loved and respected her father, a Starfleet admiral. He taught her to trust science and to view the universe with a skeptical eye. This proved valuable when she encountered an entity posing as her father trying to kidnap her to its realm. |
| J13 |
After striking a deal with the Borg, Janeway was introduced to their envoy, Seven of Nine. Seven was cut off from the Borg Collective and made a member of Voyager's crew. Janeway became a mentor to Seven, helping the ex-Borg better understand her humanity and her unique place in the galaxy. |
J14 |
Leading the crew into battle against the Krenim and their power weapon that could erase entire species from time, Janeway showed unparalleled grit and determination. She evacuated the crew and went down with the ship as Voyager collided with the Krenim vessel, destroying the weapon and resetting time. |
J15 |
Although she was surrounded by close friends and wise advisors like Chakotay and Tuvok, Janeway often sought out counsel from a holodeck recreation of Leonardo Da Vinci. Posing as his apprentice, Janeway always got a fresh perspective and clear-sighted guidance from the master artist. |
| J16 |
In a starless section of space, Janeway reflected on her decision to strand her ship and crew in the Delta Quadrant, feeling it was the wrong one. To make it right, she decided to sacrifice herself to escape "The Void," but the crew stopped her, pulling her from her depression. |
J17 |
Janeway held a soft spot for Naomi Wildman, the first child born on Voyager. While Naomi looked up to the captain and wanted to become her "special assistant." Janeway and Naomi bonded over the holodeck fairy tale "The Adventures of Flotter", which Janeway also loved as a child. |
J18 |
After discovering a sinister Species 8472 re-creation of Starfleet Academy, Janeway reflected on her Academy days, most notably her friendship with the Academy groundkeeper Boothby, who brought her fresh roses every morning. While at the Academy, her love of coffee also blossomed and helped her through many all-night study sessions. |
| J19 |
To save Voyager from trans-dimensional photonic lifeforms, Janeway took on the role of Queen Arachnia, a character in Tom Paris' melodramatic science fiction holodeck program "The Adventures of Captain Proton". Janeway lured the program's villain, Dr. Chaotica, into a trap, ending the program and sending the evil lifeforms on their way. |
J20 |
Janeway was inspired to join Starfleet by the stories of a twenty-first century ancestor named Shannon O'Donnel, who was an engineer, an astronaut and the driving force behind the landmark Millennial Gate. After learning the stories of O'Donnel weren't entirely true, Janeway was reassured by Tuvok and Seven that they were still valuable. |
J21 |
Voyager encountered another Starfleet vessel in the Delta Quadrant, the U.S.S. Equinox. Janeway soon learned that its captain, Rudolph Ransom, was using the remains of extradimensional lifeforms to power Equinox's engines. She hunted Ransom and engaged in a firefight against him. As Ransom died, Janeway promised to get his crew home. |
| J22 |
Being so far from home in the Delta Quadrant, Janeway knew her fiancé Mark would move on but felt it was inappropriate to find romance with a crew member. She did, however, make a bit of a love connection with Michael Sullivan, a character in the holodeck program Fair Haven. |
J23 |
Janeway's first commission was to the U.S.S. Al-Batani as a junior science officer, serving under Captain Owen Paris, who inspired her to command her own starship. She was virtually reunited with Paris when he, now an admiral, led the Pathfinder Project that was designed to bring Voyager home. |
J24 |
The Ocampan Kes was one of the first people Janeway met in the Delta Quadrant. On Voyager, the two built a mother-daughter relationship. When Kes started to develop her Ocampan powers, she confided in Janeway before leaving Voyager. Years later, Kes returned to Voyager seeking vengeance but Janeway stopped her. |
| J25 |
Over the course of many encounters with the Borg, Janeway became an expert on the Collective and their technology. When she learned of a way to infiltrate the hive and potentially to destroy them, she went so far as to be partially assimilated in order to bring down the Borg Queen. |
J26 |
All Starfleet captains knew about the entity called "Q", but no one, except for Jean-Luc Picard, knew Q as well as Janeway. Every time Q appeared on Voyager, he needed something, including help unifying the Q Collective through procreation. Though she refused his advances, Q named Janeway his son's godparent. |
J27 |
Years after Voyager returned to the Alpha Quadrant, Admiral Janeway traveled back in time to accelerate the ship's return and to prevent Seven of Nine's premature death. Though skeptical, Janeway partnered with her future self, simultaneously destroying the Borg and getting Voyager home years sooner. |
| J28 |
When Voyager emerged from the Borg's transwarp conduit and arrived at the safe harbors of Starfleet Command on Earth, celebrations abounded. The ship was turned into a museum and its crew given a hero's welcome. Their safe return was a tribute to Janeway's skills as a captain. |
J29 |
With Voyager home, Janeway was promoted to vice-admiral, the same rank her father held. Among her many responsibilities at Starfleet Command was issuing orders to various captains, including assigning Jean-Luc Picard and the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E on a diplomatic mission to Romulus. |
J30 |
Several years after Voyager's return, Starfleet commissioned the U.S.S. Protostar, a vessel powered by a star. Aboard the ship was a training hologram modeled after Janeway. Under the command of Captain Chakotay, the Protostar's first mission took it back to the Delta Quadrant, its new engine allowing faster travel through the galaxy. |
| J31 |
The U.S.S. Dauntless, under the command of Vice-Admiral Janeway, searched for the lost Protostar and its captain, Chakotay. Along the way, Janeway met a group of kids who accidentally commandeered the Protostar. Together, Janeway, her holographic doppelganger, and the kids thwarted a plot by the Vau N'Akat to destroy Starfleet. |
J32 |
Thanks to a dearth of experienced captains, Vice-Admiral Janeway was given command of the U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656-A. Joined by her youthful proteges from the U.S.S. Protostar, Janeway used Voyager to search for Chakotay. After the Protostar crew accidentally got lost in time, Janeway added finding them to the mission, too. |
J33 |
Thanks to some time traveling help from Wesley Crusher, the Protostar kids rescued Chakotay from the future. Overcome with emotion, Janeway embraced her friend and former first officer for the first time in many years. They then worked together to prevent a war with the Vau N'Akat. |
| J34 |
After fighting to get the Protostar kids accepted into Starfleet Academy, including the Augment Dal R'EI, Janeway declined a promotion to full Admiral, and instead submitted early-retirement papers. She returned to her family farm in Indiana, looking forward to a quieter, simple life. |
J35 |
Following the Synth attack on Mars, Janeway was recalled to active duty. Opposed to Starfleet's isolationist leanings, she convinced her superiors to recommission the Protostar-class starships and use them as training vessels, including one to be manned by her newly promoted proteges under the direction of her doppelgänger, Hologram Janeway. |
J36 |
Janeway finally accepted her promotion to Admiral and returned to her administrative duties. She continued to watch over her families from the original Voyager and the Protostar, including convincing Starfleet to give an officer's commission to Seven of Nine. Through it all, she held to one simple phrase: "To The Journey." |

Annika Hansen was born on the Federation's Tendara colony to Magnus and Erin Hansen. A strong-willed child, Annika had no siblings and only met one other family member besides her parents, her Aunt Irene. With dreams of growing up and becoming a ballerina, Annika journeyed to the stars with her parents. |
SN2 |
Learning of the Borg's existence, Magnus and Erin Hansen, with daughter Annika in tow, were granted use of the U.S.S. Raven to study the Collective. Chasing a Borg cube through a transwarp conduit took the Hansens to the Delta Quadrant where the Borg captured the Raven and assimilated the family. |
SN3 |
Assimilated as a child, Annika Hansen grew up as a Borg drone with the designation Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero [One]. Seven carried out the will of the Borg Queen, assimilating millions of individuals. With her past erased, Seven knew nothing but the Collective. |
| SN4 |
To protect the galaxy from the invading Species 8472, Captain Kathryn Janeway of the U.S.S. Voyager negotiated a brief alliance with the Borg. The Borg Queen dispatched Seven of Nine to serve as the Borg's envoy to Voyager, with the plan that she would eventually assimilate the ship and crew. |
SN5 |
With Species 8472 defeated and Seven of Nine's attempts to assimilate the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager having failed, Seven was cut off from the Collective. The Doctor removed most of Seven's Borg implants and Captain Janeway chose to have her remain aboard Voyager as a member of the crew. |
SN6 |
Aside from getting her crew home, Captain Janeway wanted nothing more than to help Seven of Nine recapture her lost humanity. In the years that followed, Janeway mentored Seven, teaching her about life and the beauty of being human. Though they occasionally butted heads, Seven appreciated Janeway's guidance. |
| SN7 |
A transporter accident involving a nebula caused the Doctor's 29th century mobile emitter to combine with Seven of Nine's nanoprobes to create a new drone named One. With a motherly approach, Seven tried to teach One about individuality and humanity. She was heartbroken when One died protecting Voyager from assimilation. |
SN8 |
Voyager encountered a sabotaged vinculum - the heart of a Borg cube - which connected to Seven's cortical implant and caused her to relive the last moments of several beings she assimilated, including a Klingon, a Ferengi and others. Voyager disposed of the vinculum and a mind-meld with Tuvok restored Seven's individuality. |
SN9 |
Despite being cut off from the Borg Collective, Seven required the regeneration process of a Borg drone while her body adjusted to the removal of most of her implants. As she grew more comfortable exploring her humanity, Seven chose to sleep, eventually no longer needing her regeneration alcove. |
| SN10 |
The Borg Queen set a trap for Voyager and promised Seven she would spare Voyager's crew, if Seven reassimilated herself. To apply added pressure, the Borg Queen introduced Seven to the drone that was once her father. Seven reluctantly agreed but was saved by Janeway before rejoining the Collective. |
SN11 |
Among Voyager's crew, perhaps no one was more significant in Seven's transition from Borg drone to human being than the Doctor. He removed Seven's Borg implants and worked to teach her the social side of humanity. Though she didn't return his romantic feelings, Seven appreciated all he did for her. |
SN12 |
Recruited by the 29th century Federation timeship U.S.S. Relativity, Seven traveled through time to find a temporal disrupter that had been placed on Voyager. Dying twice in the process, Seven joined forces with Captain Janeway and stopped the temporal saboteur before returning to their proper timeline. |
| SN13 |
Seven of Nine and Ensign Harry Kim worked together to construct the Astrometrics Lab on Voyager using a combination of Borg and Federation technology. The lab would become Seven's primary workstation on Voyager. From there, she studied many of the phenomena Voyager encountered and charted shortcuts to the Alpha Quadrant. |
SN14 |
Though initially suspicious of each other, Seven and Naomi Wildman built a friendship that Seven described as "family." As the first child born on Voyager, Naomi experienced many of life's ups and downs aboard the ship, something Seven related to in a way no one else could. |
SN15 |
Eight years earlier, Seven linked three of her fellow Borg drones in a sub-Collective, saving their lives. Once freed from the Borg, though still linked to each other, the trio sought revenge against Seven. She and the Doctor cut the connection, giving them individuality, but with a short life expectancy. |
| SN16 |
Seven believed upgrading her regeneration alcove would make her more efficient by allowing her to process information during the regeneration process. However, the upgrades instead gave Seven wild conspiracy theories about Voyager and the crew. After briefly fleeing the ship, Seven returned and removed the upgrades. |
SN17 |
Captured by a Norcadian named Penk. Seven - replacing an injured Tuvok - battled in the blood sport Tsunkatse against some of the Delta Quadrant's most vicious beings. Upon being rescued and returned to Voyager, Seven expressed regret at losing control during the fights. Tuvok countered that her feelings represented her humanity. |
SN18 |
On Voyager, there were few people Seven felt she could truly connect with, but a notable exception was Tuvok. Likewise, the Vulcan found in the ex-Borg a kindred spirit, someone with whom he could share logic and an analytical mind. Their friendship remained strong for decades, even after Voyager returned home. |
| SN19 |
When Voyager encountered an abandoned group of young Borg drones, Seven taught them how to live life after assimilation. She became especially close to the oldest child, Icheb. Over time, she grew to love him like a son. |
SN20 |
In Unimatrix Zero, a virtual world accessible during regeneration, Seven connected with fellow drones including Axum, who retained their individuality. The Borg Queen discovered the virtual world and sought to cut off the drones' individuality. She was stopped by Seven and the Voyager crew. |
SN21 |
Seven faced her mortality when her cortical node malfunctioned. She shared many emotional moments with Captain Janeway and the rest of the Voyager crew, realizing that she had impacted them as much as they had her. Ultimately, her life was saved, thanks to her adoptive son Icheb giving her his node. |
| SN22 |
To protect the Doctor from execution by the anti-hologram Lokirrim, Seven uploaded his program to her Borg implants. While existing in Seven's body, the Doctor experienced numerous physical sensations and indulgences, much to Seven's annoyance. After restoring the Doctor, Seven decided to indulge herself and enjoy pleasurable experiences more often. |
SN23 |
Voyager was splintered into thirty-seven distinct time periods. Chakotay, the only crew member not affected, turned to Seven, who existed in the time period when she first boarded Voyager as a Borg drone. She soon developed a way to restore Voyager to one unified time period and saved Janeway's life. |
SN24 |
Because her Borg implants prevented strong emotion, Seven had limited opportunity to explore the more romantic parts of herself. Once the Doctor safely removed the emotion blockers, Seven pursued a relationship with Chakotay. They went on several dates shortly before Voyager returned home, but eventually they parted ways. |
| SN25 |
With Voyager back home in the Alpha Quadrant, Seven searched for a place to belong. Rejected by Starfleet, she set off into space, where she found purpose in joining the Fenris Rangers, a loosely affiliated group of peacekeepers who patroled the galaxy in defense of the defenseless. |
SN26 |
While on patrol, Fenris Ranger Seven lost her ship while saving a freighter with the designation La Sirena. After beaming aboard the small ship, Seven encountered Jean-Luc Picard and assisted him with a mission on the planet Freecloud. Later, the two former Borg bonded over the difficulties of fully regaining their humanity. |
SN27 |
Shortly after joining the Fenris Rangers, Seven encountered a woman named Bjayzl, a black market dealer in Borg parts who posed as a Ranger to get close to Seven. Bjayzl betrayed Seven, murdering Seven's adoptive son Icheb. Seven got her revenge years later by killing Bjayzl. |
| SN28 |
Seven was summoned to a Borg cube known as the Artifact by Jean-Luc Picard's young Romulan warrior friend Elnor. To save the cube's compliment of former Borg and to stop a Romulan plot, Seven connected herself to the cube's Queencell, briefly becoming a Borg Queen and taking control of the cube. |
SN29 |
While helping Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of La Sirena save the android Synths of the planet Coppelius, Seven met Raffi Musiker, a former Starfleet Intelligence officer. They took a liking to each other and made an intense, albeit ill-fated and short-lived, romantic connection. |
SN30 |
Seven, now commanding La Sirena, joined Picard on the U.S.S. Stargazer as it encountered the Borg Queen, leading Picard to activate the ship's auto destruct sequence. Moments later, Seven awakened without her Borg implants, and learned she was now the authoritarian President of the Confederation of Earth in an alternate timeline. |
| SN31 |
To restore the timeline, Seven, Picard, Raffi and others from La Sirena traveled to 2024 Earth. Paired with Raffi, Seven helped the crew fix their future, but she was gravely wounded in the process. Dr. Agnes Jurati, who had fused with a Borg Queen, saved Seven by reinstalling her Borg implants. |
SN32 |
Returning to the 25th century, Seven began a new journey. Thanks to Admirals Janeway and Picard, she received a Starfleet commission as a commander. She was posted as first officer aboard the U.S.S. Titan under the command of Captain Liam Shaw, who insisted she go by her birth name "Annika Hansen " |
SN33 |
Seven welcomed Admiral Picard and Captain William Riker to the Titan, ostensibly for an inspection. She proved her loyalty to Picard when she defied Captain Shaw's orders and helped Picard locate Beverly Crusher. Though disciplined by Shaw for her insubordination, Seven maintained that she made the right decision. |
| SN34 |
Having fully embraced her humanity, Seven relied on her instincts over rules and logic as the Titan battled the Changeling Vadic and her warship the Shrike. These instincts helped her expose a shapeshifter posing as her friend Tuvok and another as Titan pilot Sidney La Forge. |
SN35 |
A dying Captain Shaw turned the Titan over to Seven. She then took the ship into battle against every Starfleet vessel, which had all been assimilated by the Borg. She guided the Titan on a mission to cover for Picard and the Enterprise, as they defeated the Borg Queen. |
SN36 |
Believing she was about to be court martialed, Seven tendered her resignation to Captain Tuvok. Tuvok declined her request, revealing that Shaw, despite their differences, recommended her for promotion to captain. With Raffi as her first officer, she took command of the Titan, which had been rechristened U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-G. |

Day 1. An energy beam bears down on a beautiful Class-M planet, wiping out all organisms and man-made structures. In orbit of the planet is the vessel that fired the beam: a Krenim time ship that erases its targets from space and time, as though they never existed. |
YH2 |
The U.S.S. Voyager's crew has assembled to celebrate the ship's new Astrometrics Lab. Built by Seven of Nine and Harry Kim, the lab uses a combination of Starfleet and Borg technology to create detailed maps of the galaxy, which may provide the Voyager crew with a shorter route home. |
YH3 |
In celebration of the new Astrometrics Lab, the Doctor launches into a long-winded speech about Voyager's earliest days in the Delta Quadrant. Not wanting to offend the Doctor but also bored by his speech, the crew is relieved when he is interrupted by a hail from a mysterious vessel. |
| YH4 |
As Captain Janeway and the crew arrive on the bridge to answer the mysterious hail, the unknown ship fires on Voyager. Their weapons are no match for Voyager. On the viewscreen appears a Krenim officer warning that they are trespassing in Krenim space. |
YH5 |
Day 4. Janeway meets with a Zahl representative who welcomes them to their space and recommends ignoring the Krenim. The Krenim ship returns followed by a massive spatial distortion that passes over Voyager. The distortion erases the Zahl from existence and changes Voyager into the victim of a powerful Krenim attack. |
YH6 |
The massive spatial distortion which erased the Zahl has resulted in the Krenim vessel becoming a massive warship. The Krenim commander offers to spare Janeway's crew if she surrenders. She refuses, causing Voyager to suffer more damage from the Krenim's chroniton weapons. |
| YH7 |
On the Krenim weapon ship, its commanding officer Annorax learns that erasing the Zahl has restored nearly all of the once mighty Krenim Empire. Still missing is a certain colony, and Annorax orders their mission to continue. |
YH8 |
Day 32. Voyager battles a Krenim warship, sustaining more damage.
The Doctor evacuates crew members from sickbay and deck five as the deck is destroyed. Janeway orders Tuvok to eject four photon torpedoes into space. The torpedoes collide with the Krenim warship, destroying it. |
YH9 |
Chakotay joins Janeway in her damaged Ready Room. The efforts to modify Voyager's shields against the chroniton weapons have failed. Chakotay recommends that the crew abandon ship with each escape pod finding its own way home to the Alpha Quadrant. Janeway refuses. |
| YH10 |
Day 47. Stuck in turbolift for six hours, Harry Kim and a grievously injured B'Elanna Torres play Starfleet trivia, including a question about First Contact Day. As Torres struggles to answer, Seven frees them, answers the question while revealing the Borg were present on that day. |
YH11 |
Having figured out a way to modify Voyager's shields, Tom Paris reports to the Mess Hall which has been transformed into a makeshift sickbay. The Doctor chastises Paris for spending too much time caring for B'Elanna. Meanwhile, Seven discovers an undetonated chroniton torpedo on deck eleven. |
YH12 |
Tuvok arrives on deck eleven at the site of the undetonated chroniton torpedo, and he recommends placing a level ten forcefield around it. Seven argues that finding the torpedo's temporal variance could help in modifying the shields. Just as Seven captures the data, the torpedo explodes, blinding Tuvok. |
| YH13 |
Day 65. Voyager has been pummeled, and crew morale is low. Chakotay gives Janeway a special watch he replicated for her birthday. She orders him to return it to the replicator to use its matter as rations. Meanwhile, Seven guides Tuvok on his rounds just as the Krenim attack again. |
YH14 |
Seven gets the temporal shields online just as the Krenim fire again. Janeway hails the Krenim warning them off now that Voyager is no longer defenseless. She orders Paris to continue to travel through Krenim space. Elsewhere, Annorax orders another species erased from time, causing another temporal wave in space. |
YH15 |
Protected by its new temporal shielding Voyager remains unchanged after the temporal wave passes over it. However, when this wave hits Voyager's shielding, it causes the erasure of the entire Krenim Imperium. Furious, Annorax targets Voyager, determined to remove this new variable from his plans. |
| YH16 |
Day 70. In the heavily damaged Astrometrics Lab, Janeway and Seven work to unravel the mystery of the Krenim Imperium's disappearance. Janeway postulates that despite the evidence that the Krenim weapon ship caused the Imperium's disappearance, there's still a big piece of the puzzle missing. |
YH17 |
Annorax and his weapon ship confront Voyager. Annorax kidnaps Chakotay and Paris and tells Janeway Voyager must be destroyed to restore millions of Krenim lives. He fires his temporal weapon at the ship. Voyager warps away, but its hull is damaged. Nonetheless, Voyager avoids erasure. |
YH18 |
Day 73. Janeway gathers the surviving crew members in the mess hall, and she reveals that the ship cannot sustain the crew. She orders them to abandon ship, to make allies where they can and to find paths back to the Alpha Quadrant. Meanwhile, the senior officers are to remain on Voyager to rescue Paris and Chakotay. |
Year of Hell • Part II |
| YH19 |
Day 133. Voyager hides from the Krenim in a nebula, but gases have leaked into the ship. Janeway and Kim fix the leak, but they accidentally inhale some of the gas. Later, Janeway refuses treatment in sickbay but orders the Doctor to give her a dose of trioxin to help her breathe. |
YH20 |
Annorax greets Chakotay and Paris in his quarters aboard the Krenim ship. He boasts that they are eating delicacies that are the last remnants of a species wiped from history, which offends Paris. Annorax further brags that his ship is not just a weapon, but a museum of lost cultures. |
YH21 |
Annorax offers to restore Voyager before their first encounter with the Krenim. He promises Chakotay no one will be harmed, but it will require great effort. Skeptical but intrigued, Chakotay orders a defiant Paris to listen to Annorax's plan. Paris refuses, but Chakotay remains open to the idea. |
| YH22 |
The Voyager crew congregates in the mess hall, trying Neelix's disgusting new rations cocktail. Janeway takes advantage of the gathering and gets status updates from the senior officers. She announces Voyager is leaving the haven of the nebula. Seven publicly protests, but Janeway has made up her mind. |
YH23 |
Day 161. On board the Krenim weapon ship, Chakotay practices time calculations and suggests removing a comet that is traveling through space. Annorax tells him to run a simulation, which shows 8,000 civilizations would be wiped out if the comet were removed. |
YH24 |
Continuing his mentorship of Chakotay, Annorax details the first time he activated his ship's weapons, which eradicated the Krenim's deadliest foe. However, the unexpected consequence was the annihilation of the Krenim Imperium. He asks Chakotay for his help undoing the damage done. |
| YH25 |
Day 180. As micrometeoroids pelt Voyager, Janeway learns the ship's engines and navigation deflector are offline. Determined to get the vessel moving, she tries to fix the deflector. She finds the deflector control on fire but charges into the inferno, knowing it's the only way to repair it. |
YH26 |
The Doctor awakens Janeway, whose body was badly burned while trying to repair the deflector control. He tries relieving her from duty to help her recover, but she threatens him with deactivation. She refuses to be relieved. saying she'd welcome a court martial before stepping aside. |
YH27 |
Day 207. Janeway and Neelix survey damaged corridors. They enter Chakotay's destroyed quarters, where she finds the watch he tried giving her for her birthday months ago. Her voice cracks as he reflects on his refusal to obey that order. She fastens the watch to her belt and moves on. |
| YH28 |
On the weapon ship, Paris teaches Annorax's first officer Obrist how to play a board game. Obrist expresses regret about the devastation that he's helped wrought [wreak], especially wiping his own family from history. Paris expresses sympathy, building a friendship with the young Krenim officer. |
YH29 |
Paris proposes starting a mutiny among Annorax's crew, who have been serving with Annorax for 200 years. Chakotay forbids Paris from instigating the mutiny. Moments later, they witness another temporal incursion. Chakotay pleads with Annorax to stop. |
YH30 |
Paris warns Chakotay that he'll stop Annorax from continuing his reign of terror. Chakotay confronts Annorax in his quarters about the ongoing galactic genocide he is committing Chakotay soon realizes Annorax is bent on restoring the Krenim colony where his wife and children were removed from history. |
| YH31 |
Frustrated by Annorax's refusal to back down, Chakotay meets with Paris, permitting him to work with Obrist to send a message to Voyager and Janeway. Chakotay hopes Janeway is still alive and asks Paris to "Give Kathryn my best." |
YH32 |
Day 226. Janeway builds a coalition of allies to assist with an attack on the Krenim weapon ship. Having received Paris' message, Janeway sends her crew to assist various vessels, while she remains aboard Voyager. She shares an emotional goodbye with Tuvok, professing her love and gratitude for the crew of Voyager. |
YH33 |
Day 257. As Voyager and its allies arrive at the Krenim weapon ship's location, Annorax dismisses the threat. Chakotay reminds him that Janeway wouldn't attack unless she could do some damage. Annorax orders his crew to prepare the weapon for multiple incursions. |
| YH34 |
On the Krenim weapon ship, Paris works feverishly to take the ship's temporal core offline. Elsewhere on the ship, Annorax orders more attacks, but Obrist refuses, instead deactivating the temporal core and safely beaming Chakotay and Paris to another ship. |
YH35 |
With their ships disabled, the fleet, led by Janeway and Voyager, collides with the Krenim weapon ship. The impact causes the Krenim vessel to implode, causing an incursion on itself. With the incursion in progress, Annorax stares at his wife's lock of hair, realizing this last temporal incursion will reset all timelines. |

LOST AND FOUND
Desperate to escape the prison mining colony Tars Lamora, Dal R'El steals a mining vehicle and reaches the outskirts of the colony before being captured. Meanwhile, Gwyndala—the multi-lingual daughter of the Vau N'Akat authoritarian ruler of the colony, the Diviner—is questioning Dal to find another prisoner, the Medusan known as Zero. Later, in the mines, Dal accidentally collapses a cavern, revealing a Starfleet vessel, the U.S.S. Protostar. |
2 |
LOST AND FOUND
Dal assembles a crew of his fellow prisoners—Medusan Zero, Tellarite Jankom Pog, Brikar Rok-Tahk, and the gelatinous Murf—who repair the ship together. Gwyn and her father's aide, the Drednok, recapture Dal. He escapes, returning to the ship and leading Gwyn directly to Zero. They launch the ship with Gwyn aboard and meet a holographic version of Starfleet Captain Kathryn Janeway, who promises to guide them on their journey. |
3 |
STARSTRUCK
Aboard the U.S.S. Protostar, Dal lies to Hologram Janeway about being a Starfleet Cadet. Gwyn demands they return to Tars Lamora, while the rest of the crew agrees they might find refuge in the United Federation of Planets. As the ship is drawn into the gravity well of a white dwarf star, Gwyn unsuccessfully attempts to escape via shuttlecraft. Meanwhile, on Tars Lamora, the Diviner begins his search for the U.S.S. Protostar. |
| 4 |
DREAMCATCHER
The U.S.S. Protostar crew embarks on their first away mission, exploring a living planet that lures its prey in by revealing their deepest desires and ensnaring them in vines. Gwyn attempts to commandeer the vessel but is forced to evacuate with Murf when the planet's vines wrap themselves around the ship. Unable to reboard the ship, the crew finds themselves stranded on the so-called Murder Planet. |
5 |
TERROR FIRMA
Stranded on Murder Planet, the U.S.S. Protostar crew finds shelter in a Klingon Bird-of-Prey. Gwyn uses her malleable Heirloom to secure her broken leg. Soon, the Diviner and Drednok arrive planet-side, determined to retake the U.S.S. Protostar. Forced to choose between helping his daughter or regaining his ship, the Diviner picks the U.S.S. Protostar but learns it's an illusion. Elsewhere, Hologram Janeway fixes the real U.S.S. Protostar and the crew, including Gwyn, escape. |
6 |
KOBAYASHI
With the U.S.S. Protostar's experimental proto-drive disabled, the crew explores the ship's holodeck. Dal undertakes the fabled Kobayashi Maru test, gathering holographic versions of Starfleet legends as his crew. Through repeated failures, he learns important lessons about leadership. Meanwhile, Gwyn wonders why her father wants the U.S.S. Protostar. Later, the crew activates a video showing the vessel's previous commander, Captain Chakotay, sending a distress call as the ship is overcome by invaders. |
| 7 |
FIRST CON-TACT
Dal's adoptive mother, a Ferengi con artist named Nandi, tricks the U.S.S. Protostar crew into stealing a rare crystal from a nearby planet. Hologram Janeway warns them against violating the Prime Directive and making first contact with the planet's population. After ignoring Janeway's recommendation and being betrayed by Nandi, Dal returns the crystal to the planet. Later, Nandi learns that a large bounty has been placed on the U.S.S. Protostar and its crew. |
8 |
TIME AMOK
Learning the U.S.S. Protostar's location, the Diviner replicates a Drednok aboard remotely. Meanwhile, Dal reveals the crew's true origin to Hologram Janeway. Soon, an energy pulse splits the U.S.S. Protostar into five temporal phases. Rok-Tahk works to save the ship in her phase while the vessel explodes in the others. Rok saves the ship, restoring the crew to their proper time phase. Below deck, the Drednok duplicate indicates it is still active. |
9 |
A MORAL STAR, PART I
Receiving a threatening message from the Diviner, the U.S.S. Protostar crew returns to their former prison, Tars Lamora, to save the lives of the miners left there. They return the ship to the Diviner but are double-crossed as the dictator damages the miners' ship. On the U.S.S. Protostar, Gwyn demands answers from her father. On Tars Lamora, the rest of the crew protect the U.S.S. Protostar's stolen proto-drive and rescue the miners. |
| 10 |
A MORAL STAR, PART II
Gwyn tries retaking the U.S.S. Protostar and learns her home world, Solum, was destroyed when Starfleet made first contact. The Diviner traveled back in time to destroy Starfleet with a weapon on the U.S.S. Protostar. The rest of the crew returns to the U.S.S. Protostar, where Zero reveals their true form to defeat the Diviner, exiling him on Tars Lamora. Elsewhere, on the U.S.S. Dauntless, Vice Admiral Kathryn Janeway searches for the U.S.S. Protostar. |
11 |
ASYLUM
After saving an endangered aquathawn, the U.S.S. Protostar crew seeks asylum aboard a Starfleet communications outpost. They learn that Dal's species is classified and are to report to Starfleet. While Zero helps Gwyn regain her memories lost in the battle with her father, the U.S.S. Protostar's weapon activates, causing the outpost to turn its weapons on itself. Meanwhile, Vice Admiral Janeway and the U.S.S. Dauntless arrive at Tars Lamora and beam the Diviner aboard. |
12 |
LET SLEEPING BORG LIE
Desperate to figure out how to stop the U.S.S. Protostar's Starfleet-destroying weapon, the crew boards a dormant Borg cube. Zero seeks the information they need by joining the Borg collective and learns that the weapon, called the Living Construct, cannot be disabled. Zero is briefly assimilated but is freed when Gwyn reminds them of their friendship. Elsewhere, the U.S.S. Dauntless arrives at the communications outpost that the U.S.S. Protostar recently visited and revives the Diviner. |
| 13 |
ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE
Unable to go to Starfleet because of the Living Construct weapon, the U.S.S. Protostar crew answers a distress call from an unidentified planet and are shocked to learn the population based its society on stories of the U.S.S. Enterprise. They choose to help heal the planet's people from radiation poisoning caused by a crashed shuttlecraft. Meanwhile, Murf builds a chrysalis. Elsewhere, Vice Admiral Janeway realizes Chakotay no longer commands the U.S.S. Protostar. |
14 |
CROSSROADS
On an ice planet, the U.S.S. Protostar crew searches for a ship to take them to Starfleet. They each encounter members of the U.S.S. Dauntless's crew but run away when they learn they are wanted fugitives, and the Diviner is aboard the U.S.S. Dauntless. They return to the U.S.S. Protostar with outlaw Thadiun Okona. The damaged U.S.S. Protostar evades the U.S.S. Dauntless by entering the Romulan Neutral Zone. Meanwhile, Murf hatches in a new humanoid form. |
15 |
MASQUERADE
While Jankom and Zero repair the U.S.S. Protostar at a spaceport in the Neutral Zone, the rest of the crew, and Okona, meet with a geneticist who reveals Dal has the DNA of twenty-six species. Dal briefly mutates into a hybrid creature while the crew, abandoned by Okona, defends the U.S.S. Protostar from Romulans and a potential attack from the U.S.S. Dauntless. Later, U.S.S. Dauntless Ensign Asencia reveals herself to be a Vau N'Akat. |
| 16 |
PRELUDES
While working together to repair the U.S.S. Protostar, the crew each shared stories from their pasts before arriving at Tars Lamora, hoping it would make Dal feel better about his own. Rok reveals she was the villain in a fight show, Zero explains they were captured by Kazons, and Jankom saved a ship full of Tellarites but had to abandon it. On the U.S.S. Dauntless, Asencia and the Diviner attack Janeway. |
17 |
GHOST IN THE MACHINE
Trapped in a malfunctioning holodeck, the U.S.S. Protostar crew experiences several different programs, including battling a biker gang, escaping a 1920s speakeasy, and traveling the high seas on a pirate ship. They realize the holodeck has intentionally distracted them while a secret program was activated in Hologram Janeway, and caused her to take the U.S.S. Protostar back to Federation space. There, they find themselves facing off with the U.S.S. Dauntless. |
18 |
MINDWALK
Tapping into some of Dal's alien DNA, Zero attempts telepathic contact with Vice Admiral Janeway; however, the effort goes awry, transferring Dal and Janeway's minds into each other's bodies. Through this, Janeway learns of the U.S.S. Protostar's weapon. The two exit their respective ships and transfer their minds back to their original bodies. However, Janeway awakens in the U.S.S. Dauntless brig, and the U.S.S. Protostar finds itself surrounded by Starfleet vessels. |
| 19 |
SUPERNOVA, PART I
While the U.S.S. Protostar avoids a firefight with an armada of Starfleet ships, Janeway frees herself from the U.S.S. Dauntless brig. Asencia, the Diviner, and Drednok board the U.S.S. Protostar. Asencia kills the Diviner, and Drednok attacks the crew. Asencia and Drednok escape as the crew learns the weapon has activated and the armada is attacking itself. Dal and Admiral Janeway call for non-Starfleet reinforcements, just as more Starfleet vessels arrive. |
20 |
SUPERNOVA, PART II
To save Starfleet, the U.S.S. Protostar crew decides to have Hologram Janeway explode the vessel mid-proto-jump while they abandon ship. Later, Vice Admiral Janeway insists on commanding the ship that will study the interspatial wormhole created by U.S.S. Protostar's destruction. She uses her influence to get the crew, including Dal, who was forbidden because he's an Augment, provisional Starfleet commissions. Gwyn travels to Solum to unite her people before Starfleet arrives. |

INTO THE BREACH, PART I
Dal, Jankom, Murf, Rok, and Zero board the new U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656-A as "warrant officers" under the mentorship of the original U.S.S. Voyager's EMH, The Doctor. They are given assignments to assist with a mission investigating the wormhole they created with the destruction of the U.S.S. Protostar. Dal suspects Vice Admiral Janeway is hiding something. Spying on her, he learns they're planning to enter the wormhole to find Chakotay. |
22 |
INTO THE BREACH, PART II
Gwyn's diplomatic efforts on Solum are subverted by Asencia, who warned the Vau N'Akat elders about Gwyn being a spy. She escapes capture and finds the present-day version of her father, Ilthuran. On the U.S.S. Voyager, Janeway explains they are waiting for Chakotay to send the U.S.S. Protostar from the future before they can rescue him. Joined by Vulcan cadet Maj'el, Dal, Zero, and Jankom take a secret shuttlecraft into the wormhole. |
23 |
WHO SAVES THE SAVIORS
The U.S.S. Infinity shuttlecraft crashes on Solum, 52 years in the future. Dal, Jankom, Zero, and Maj'el are captured and meet fellow prisoner Chakotay. The group escapes, and Chakotay flies the U.S.S. Protostar away, changing the timeline. On present-day U.S.S. Voyager, Rok explains that the shuttle launch was an accident. Meanwhile, on present-day Solum, Gwyn challenges Asencia to a battle, but loses when she phases out of existence due to the timeline changes. |
| 24 |
TEMPORAL MECHANICS 101
On future Solum, the U.S.S. Infinity crew receive a message from present-day Janeway revealing the timeline is changing. Desperate to make things right, Dal leads his friends to a cavern where they see Gwyn, phasing between their time and the present. To save Gwyn, they turn the shuttlecraft into a timeship. They return to the present, taking Gwyn back to U.S.S. Voyager. Meanwhile, a mysterious messenger tells the crew to stay together. |
25 |
OBSERVER'S PARADOX
The warrant officers are placed under The Doctor's strict supervision, much to Dal's chagrin. Gwyn has been temporally stabilized, though it is only temporary. Murf struggles to explain the mysterious messages he received. They turn to the aquatic officers in Cetacean Ops to help translate for Murf and learn that the key to finding Chakotay is in Gwyn's temporal armband. She briefly adjusts its frequency and discovers Chakotay's location. |
26 |
IMPOSTER SYNDROME
To prevent the U.S.S. Infinity timeship from being destroyed, Rok programs holographic versions of her friends so the real versions can again steal the shuttlecraft. However, the holograms think they are the true versions and rebel against the others. Rok resets the holograms while Maj'el distracts The Doctor, allowing the others to beam into the U.S.S. Infinity and make it appear destroyed. On U.S.S. Voyager, the rebooted holographic warrant officers have swapped voices. |
| 27 |
THE FAST AND THE CURIOUS
The U.S.S. Infinity crew travels through a Borg transwarp conduit and are captured by a band of Kazons. The Kazons offer the crew freedom if they can win a race. The Kazons are revealed to be under the mental control of an Al. To free their friends, Zero destroys the Al, causing great damage to their containment suit. Meanwhile, on U.S.S. Voyager, Maj'el witnesses a time stop, and strange tentacles capture Hologram Gwyn. |
28 |
IS THERE IN BEAUTY NO TRUTH?
To save Zero, the U.S.S. Infinity lands on Ovidia IV, a planet of non-corporeal entities who inhabit physical bodies. After receiving his own organic body, Zero unknowingly participates in the life-threatening Running of the Nazamon. Saved by their friends, Zero chooses to leave Ovidia, understanding it means his body will degrade. On U.S.S. Voyager, Maj'el exposes the holographic duplicates, leading Janeway and The Doctor to study the tentacles that attacked Hologram Gwyn. |
29 |
THE DEVOURER OF ALL THINGS, PART I
The U.S.S. Infinity arrives at the coordinates they believe will lead them to Chakotay, but instead find the Traveler Wesley Crusher, who reveals himself to be the source of the mysterious messages. Wesley explains the importance of returning the U.S.S. Protostar to Tars Lamora in the past and defeating the tentacled time monsters, the Loom. Meanwhile, after ignoring orders from Admiral Jellico, U.S.S. Voyager follows U.S.S. Infinity's path, hoping to locate Chakotay themselves. |
| 30 |
THE DEVOURER OF ALL THINGS, PART II
U.S.S. Voyager arrives at the Traveler planet and faces the Loom, which seemingly erases Maj'el. However, she survives and locates her friends and Wesley Crusher, hiding in a temporal safe room. As the Loom continues its attack, U.S.S. Voyager retaliates, distracting the Loom. With a shuttle, Janeway reunites with her crew and Wesley. Wesley returns her to U.S.S. Voyager, sends the group through a portal, and wipes the planet and Loom from existence. |
31 |
LAST FLIGHT OF THE PROTOSTAR, PART I
Thanks to Wesley Crusher, the group finds Chakotay and the U.S.S. Protostar marooned on a distant planet, ten years after they last saw him. Embittered, Chakotay wants nothing to do with them, but Hologram Janeway invites them aboard the ship. The group helps Chakotay gather food, repair the ship, and rescue Dal from a plasma storm. They find Chakotay's former first officer Adreek's body and the antimatter he collected, restoring Chakotay's hope. |
32 |
LAST FLIGHT OF THE PROTOSTAR, PART II
Seeking intelligence on Wesley Crusher, Vice Admiral Janeway contacts Beverly Crusher. Meanwhile, across space, Chakotay and the young officers transform the U.S.S. Protostar into a sailing ship that they will take into a plasma storm to power the vessel for spaceflight. When Chakotay falls overboard, Dal mounts a daring rescue. The U.S.S. Protostar flies, allowing Hologram Janeway to locate U.S.S. Voyager. The crew sets off to build a star to power the proto-drive. |
| 33 |
A TRIBBLE CALLED QUEST
While gathering bosonite to power the proto-drive, the U.S.S. Protostar crew encounters an aggressive Tribble and the Klingon scientist who genetically modified it, K'ruvang. Rok accidentally contaminates one of K'ruvang's Tribble experiments, creating a Brikar/Tribble hybrid. Rok develops a serum that helps K'ruvang with his modified Tribbles. Meanwhile, an injured Zero recognizes that their organic body won't last forever. The crew uses the bosonite they collected to restart the proto-drive. |
34 |
CRACKED MIRROR
The U.S.S. Protostar rendezvous with U.S.S. Voyager, but it is a different U.S.S. Voyager commanded by Admiral Jellico. Different sections of the U.S.S. Voyager exist in different timelines. They develop a plan to use the deflector dish to restore all the timelines. Finding themselves in the Mirror Universe, the crew convinces their counterparts to help them by battling the attacking Loom while they return to their timeline. Finally home, Chakotay is reunited with Janeway. |
35 |
ASCENSION, PART I
With Starfleet having neutralized the U.S.S. Protostar weapon and plotting the course to send it back in time, the crew recovers from their missions. The Doctor and Jankom create a new body for Zero. Janeway receives a hail from Gwyn's father, Ilthuran, but it is interrupted by Asencia, who has captured Wesley Crusher and is using his Traveler abilities to create a warship. She attacks U.S.S. Voyager, quickly gaining the upper hand. |
| 36 |
ASCENSION, PART II
The Vau N'Akat warship pummels U.S.S. Voyager with time-based weapons, causing the crew to age rapidly. Zero volunteers to stop the time weapons since they do not age like organic beings. Zero and Rok change the time weapon's targeting to follow Maj'el's shuttle and destroy the warship. On Solum, an enraged Asencia tortures Wesley, telling him she's learned Starfleet is spread too thin to stop the war she's planning. |
37 |
BRINK
Gwyn leads a mission to Solum to gather intelligence and rescue her father, Iithuran. They encounter the present-day version of Asencia, who doesn't want to become the monster her future self is. She helps Gwyn and some of the team rescue Wesley while Dal and the others find Ilthuran. Future Asencia captures the crew as Dal sends Wesley and Ilthuran to U.S.S. Voyager. Wesley reveals he no longer knows the future. |
38 |
TOUCH OF GREY
Hologram Janeway builds a Vau N'Akat ship that will be used to infiltrate Solum and rescue the captured U.S.S. Protostar crew. On Solum, Asencia unleashes a Loom on her prisoners. The U.S.S. Protostar crew escapes the Loom while The Doctor, disguised as Vice Admiral Janeway, bargains for their freedom. The combined U.S.S. Voyager and U.S.S. Protostar crews turn the Loom on Asencia's guards and return to U.S.S. Voyager just as Ilthuran's rebels attack Ascenia. |
| 39 |
OUROBOROS, PART I
Asencia opens a series of temporal wormholes that will destroy Starfleet. Wesley realizes they can use these wormholes to send the U.S.S. Protostar to the past on Tars Lamora. Half the U.S.S. Protostar crew search for the proper space-time coordinates that the other half will input to Asencia's wormhole control tower. Receiving strength from the Vau N'Akat, Gwyn defeats Asencia as the proper wormhole appears. But so do the Loom. |
40 |
OUROBOROS, PART II
Chakotay and crew fly the U.S.S. Protostar past the attacking Loom and into the wormhole, sending it back in time to Tars Lamora. Returning to U.S.S. Voyager, they learn the timeline is repaired. Later, the cadets are welcomed to Starfleet Academy, Chakotay takes command of U.S.S. Voyager, Wesley visits his mother, and Janeway briefly retires. Following the Synth attack on Mars, Janeway assigns the cadets to the U.S.S. Prodigy on a mission of exploration. |
