538 538 Time's Arrow, Part II

Captain's log, stardate 46001.3. I have taken an Away Team back into Earth's past, following Mr. Data. While here, Doctor Crusher and Commander Riker have made a startling discovery: the aliens we have tracked from Devidia II have been preying upon people in Earth's past. Using a cholera plague as cover for their actions, the Devidians are draining electrochemical energy from their victims, and transferring it to Devidia for ingestion. We must determine a way to stop them.
539 539 Time's Arrow, Part II

Captain's log, supplemental. We have recovered the ophidian that the aliens have been using to open the space-time continuum. I have met Guinan, living in this time period and with her help, we have explored the cavern under the Presidio, which has been specifically tuned to be a focusing mechanism. While planning to return to the future and destroy the site, we were interrupted first by Mr. Samuel Clemens and then by the aliens who grabbed the ophidian and initiated a portal. The event injured Guinan, and I have remained with her while my crew followed the alien into the portal.
540 540 Time's Arrow, Part II

Captain's log, supplemental. Using Data's head, which was left behind after he grabbed the ophidian. I was able to send a message to the future regarding information I received from one of the aliens. The message got through and Samuel Clemens was sent back into the past to bring me the ophidian and help Guinan. I have returned to the U.S.S. Enterprise. Mr. Data is back together and photon torpedoes, equipped with phase discriminators. have sealed the space-time portal.
541 541 Realm Of Fear

Captain's log, stardate 46041.1. I have sent Commander Riker and an Away Team over to the U.S.S. Yosemite which we have discovered derelict near the plasma streamer it was sent to investigate. The vessel bears battle markings but no answers yet. We have received a Ferengi report of Cardassian attacks in the area and l am looking into this possibility.
542 542 Realm Of Fear

Captain's log, supplemental. We are analyzing container fragments brought back from the U.S.S. Yosemite, which were found near the transporter and show signs of having exploded. It is our hypothesis that the containers held plasma from the streamer and they combusted shortly after they were transported over to the ship. Mr. La Forge is working to recreate the conditions of the accident inside of a containment field in Engineering.
543 543 Realm Of Fear

Captain's log, stardate 46043.6. Our theory was correct, the contained plasma exploded when tested. We have also made an important discovery—microbes within the plasma. This was first revealed to Lieutenant Barclay during transport, and later confirmed by la forge and Data. The crew of the U.S.S. Yosemite was infected by the microbic life, as Barclay was, and they attempted to use the transporter's bio-filters to screen them out, but were trapped in the buffer. We have identified their patterns and safely beamed them out.
544 544 Man of the People

Captain's log, stardate 46071.6. The U.S.S. Enterprise has been called in to assist in the transport of Ambassador Ves Alkar by Admiral Simons. We are therefore headed into the Rekag-Seronia system. Unfortunately, while en route the ambassador's elderly mother, Sev Maylor, has passed away. Counselor Troi is assisting in a Lumerian ceremony with the ambassador, and we are being paced by a Bironi warship.
545 545 Man of the People

Captain's log, stardate 46073.6. We are in a standard orbit around Seronia. We have beamed aboard two of the ambassador's fellow delegates who have reported an increase in hostilities. Ambassador Alkar has asked to be transported down to meet with delegates from Rekag and Seronia. Doctor Crusher has requested permission to perform an autopsy on Sev Maylor, but this has been rejected by Alkar as it is against Lumerian custom.
546 546 Man of the People

Medical log, stardate 46075.1. Counselor Troi had succumbed to a rapidly deteriorating condition, with highly elevated Neuro Transmitter levels. These conditions were present in Sev Maylor. I performed an autopsy on her and determined that she was not Alkar's genetic parent. Counselor Troi was being fed negative energy from Alkar, allowing him to conduct his negotiations more efficiently, at the expense of Troï's health. We chemically "killed" Troi to break the link with Alkar.
547 547 Relics

Chief engineer's log, Earth standard year 2294. Only Ensign Franklin and I survived the crash of the Jenolen. After we came out of warp, our power coils exploded and the gravity well of the Dyson sphere brought us down quickly. We don't have the supplies to wait for our distress signal to reach someone. I'm going to try to lock the transporter into a diagnostic cycle, and cross connect the phase inducers to keep our patterns safe in the buffers. There's no guarantee it'll work, but we cannot just sit here.
548 548 Relics

Captain's log, supplemental. The distress signal we received brought not one but two discoveries—a long-theorized Dyson sphere, a hollow sphere constructed around a star to provide an enormous living area and virtually inexhaustible power source. Almost as amazing is the rescue of the original U.S.S. Enterprise's Chief Engineer, Captain Montgomery Scott. To help facilitate his adjustment to our century, I have sent him with Mr. La Forge to retrieve the data the Jenolen collected concerning the Dyson sphere.
549 549 Relics

Captain's log, supplemental. By attempting to hail the Dyson sphere, we inadvertenty triggered a tractor beam, apparently designed to guide ships into the sphere. The star is extremely unstable, perhaps the reason the sphere's builders abandoned it. Captain Scott and Mr. La Forge managed to use the Jenolen and her shields to force the hatch of the sphere open so we could escape. Since he lost his ship saving us, I felt it only fair to "loan' Captain Scott a shuttlecraft to get wherever he decides to go.
550 550 Schisms

Captain's log, stardate 46154.2. We are exploring the Amargosa Diaspora in an effort to chart this vast region of dense space. Mr. La Forge has channeled warp energy through the main deflector grid to increase sensor efficiency and speed our progress. I have also noticed that Commander Riker has been demonstrating a profound lack of sleep. Doctor Crusher is working to cure his insomnia.
551 551 Schisms

Captain's log, supplemental. After experiencing an unusual sensor malfunction, we have taken the sensors off-line and begun an investigation. We detected anomalous subspace particle emissions in Cargo Bay Two, comprised of spatially inverted tetryons. Also, Counselor Troi has reported that more members of the crew have been experiencing strange anxiety attacks coupled with poor sleep habits. She is investigating this phenomenon in the Holodeck.
552 552 Schisms

Captain's log, supplemental. We determined that several crew members were abducted into a subspace realm through the rift in Cargo Bay Two. A Solanogen-based alien species detected our modified subspace-enhanced sensors and opened the portal. By arming Commander Riker with a homing device, we were able to home in on the universe beyond the rift and close it with a modulated graviton pulse. We will warn Starfleet of our sensor modifications, in order to prevent the aliens from opening a new gateway, as I suspect their intent was not benevolent.
553 553 True Q

Captain's log, stardate 46192.3. After taking on relief supplies, we are headed for the ecologically devastated planet Tagra IV. Shuttlecraft are being prepared for the tremendous relief effort, since transporters will be ineffective due to the ionization of the Tagran atmosphere. Our young passenger, Amanda Rogers, has been assigned to several of the ship's departments for study during her internship.
554 554 True Q

Captain's log, supplemental. We have been visited by the entity known as Q, for a unique reason. It would seem that our new intern, Amanda Rogers, is actually descended from the Q. It is Q's intention to aid the young girl in the use of her abilities so that she might join others of her kind in the Q Continuum. I still suspect Q is not telling the whole truth about Amanda or her parents' untimely death.
555 555 True Q

Captain's log, supplemental. Amanda has proven herself to be a full-powered member of the Continuum. Q admitted that if she had been partially human, the Continuum's ethics would force him to kill her, as they executed her parents. Amanda has been using her abilties and miraculously saved Tagra IV. She has left us, but not before informing Q he was going to have to learn patience.
556 556 Rascals

Captain's log, stardate 46235.7. While returning from shore leave on the planet Marlonia the shuttlecraft carruing Ensign Ro, Keiko O'Brien, Guinan and me, passed through a strange energy cloud. This caused a tremendous physical transformation to take place, altering our bodies into those of pre-adolescents. Doctor Crusher is studying this while we head to Ligos VII, to answer a distress call. I have turned the ship over to Commander Riker.
557 557 Rascals

First officer's log, supplemental. The U.S.S. Enterprise reached Ligos VIl, but we were set upon by two Klingon B'rel Birds-of-Prey as soon as we established orbit. With shields down, we were heavily damaged, and boarded by the Ferengi who manned the Klingon vessels. The DaiMon has declared the U.S.S. Enterprise a loss and available through the Ferengi salvage law. Meanwhile, Doctor Crusher thinks she has a solution to the shuttlecraft crew's condition.
558 558 Rascals

Captain's log, stardate 46236.3. We have taken the ship back from the renegade Ferengi and re-established standard operational status. Using the transporter to replace the mising viroxic sequences in our DNA, we have been restored to our adult selves. The Ferengi Alliance has disavowed any knowledge of the renegades who have been taken into custody. We are now headed to a rendezvous at Deinonychus VII.
559 559 A Fistful of Datas

Personal log, Lieutenant Worf reporting. Due to a delay in our rendezvous with the supply vessel U.S.S. Biko, the U.S.S. Enterprise is remaining in orbit around Deinonychus VII. At the Captain's suggestion, I am spending the free time this delay allows to accompany my son Alexander in a Holodeck program of his creation. This program places us in Earth's ancient West as law enforcement officials.
560 560 A Fistful of Datas

Counselor's Log, supplemental. I have joined Lieutenant Worf and his son in a Holodeck simulation of the ancient West. I enjoyed the stories my father read me about the time, so I had enjoyed this simulation until it began to malfunction. Following the kidnapping of Alexander, Worf discovered that the safeties were off-line, and then characters within the simulation began to resemble Data in both appearance and ability.
561 561 A Fistful of Datas

Captain's log, stardate 46278.3. We have determined that a recent change in Lieutenant Commander Data's behavior was due to an experiment that attempted to connect him to the ship's primary systems. This connection also caused dangerous feedback in the ship's Holodecks, endangering the lives of Troi, Worf and Alexander. Data and the U.S.S. Enterprise are back to normal, and our supply transfer with the U.S.S. Biko has been completed.
562 562 The Quality Of Life

Captain's log, stardate 46307.2. We are remaining at Tyrus VIIA to evaluate the usefulness of a new mining technology, the particle fountain, for Carema III. The project leader, Doctor Farallon, has begun using her new devices, exocomps, which she believes will enable her to demonstrate the fountain's operation at full strength. Mr. Data is working with her to determine the viability of this plan.
563 563 The Quality Of Life

Captain's log, supplemental. Doctor Farallon's exocomps have been extremely useful in the repair of the particle fountain, but Lieutenant Commander Data has a startling hypothesis: the exocomps may have displayed self-preservation. If true, this would indicate that the exocomps have evolved into a life-form. Lieutenant Commanders La Forge and Data are investigaling this possibility with a series of simulations which will appear to the exocomps to threaten their existence.
564 564 The Quality Of Life

Captain's log, supplemental. The particle fountain's internal containment has failed. This has ended the viability of the fountain's use in the short term, but revealed something I consider to be far more important, a new life-form. The exocomps have evolved a state of self awareness, and were responsible for saving my and Mr. La Forge's lives. One of the exocomps even displaued self-sacrifice for this purpose, staying behind to disrupt the particle stream's frequency allowing our transporter to gain a positive lock.
565 565 Chain of Command, Part I

Captain's log, stardate 46357.4. We have rendezvoused with the starship Cairo near the Cardassian border for an urgent meeting with Vice-Admiral Nechayev. After relieving me of command of the U.S.S. Enterprise, she instructed me to prepare for a secret mission and informed my crew of the Cardassian mobilization along their border. Doctor Crusher, Lieutenant Worf and I ran drills on the Holodeck to prepare while Captain Edward Jellico boarded and assumed command of my ship.
566 566 Chain of Command, Part I

Captain's log, stardate 46358.2. The U.S.S. Enterprise rendezvoused with the Cardassian ship, Reklar and met with Gul Lemec to negotiate their withdrawal. I barely had time to prepare the ship and crew for the meeting. Their loyalty to Captain Picard is admirable, but their level of formality and professionalism is not what I would have expected on the fleet's flagship. Gul Lemec hinted that he knew of Captain Picard's mission. Regardless, the theta-band emissions on Celtris III have stopped, so Picard and his team have accomplished their mission-perhaps at the cost of their lives.
567 567 Chain of Command, Part I

Captain's personal log, supplemental. After informing Dr. Crusher and Worf of Starfleet's suspicion that Cardassia was developing a metagenic weapon, we managed to charter a ship and reach Celtris III. Unfortunately, the only thing there was a trap, set for us by the Cardassians. I was captured and l am hopeful that the Doctor and Worf escaped. My interrogator, Gul Madred, knew exactly what our mission was and everything about me. The only thing I don't know is why?
568 568 Chain of Command, Part II

Captain's log, stardate 46360.8. The negotiations with the Cardassians have made little progress. Lemec informed us that they have captured Captain Picard. I sent a shuttle to the Lyshan System to pick up Dr. Crusher and Worf. First Officer Riker wanted to attempt a rescue, which would be foolhardy under the circumstances. He continued to question my orders, so I have relieved him and made Lieutenant Commander Data the new First Officer. We are on our way to Minos Horva, where I suspect Cardassian ships could be hiding in a nearby nebula.
569 569 Chain of Command, Part II

Captain's log, supplemental. In order to circumvent the Cardassian invasion, we prepared 500 anti-matter mines and deployed them throughout the nebula. Despite my misgivings about Commander Riker's altitude, he performed admirably on a dangerous mission. I was able to force Gul Lemec's forces to retreat and effect the return of Captain Picard. I relinquished command of the U.S.S. Enterprise and returned to my own ship.
570 570 Chain of Command, Part II

Captain's personal log, supplemental. My ordeal at the hands of the Cardassians is over. Gul Madred tried to break my spirit through a variety of physical and psychological means. Only my experience with the Borg compares to the torture Madred subjected me to as his prisoner. I have told only Counselor Troi how close he actually came to making me believe there were five lights in the room, instead of the four I saw.
571 571 Ship in A Bottle

Captain's log, stardate 46424.1. Our mission, to observe the collision of two gas giants in the Detrian system, has been interrupted by Lieutenant Barclay's accidental activation of the Professor Moriarty program saved on stardate 42286.3. Moriarty claims that he is conscious of the four years spent in the computer memory buffer. I met with Moriarty in the Holodeck and he performed an amazing demonstration—he walked outside the confines of the Holodeck and retained his form!
572 572 Ship in A Bottle

Captain's log, supplemental. Professor Moriarty requested that we create his true love, Countess Barthalomew in the way that he was created. I refused until we could explore the possibilities and ethical ramifications, if any. Moriarty then backed his "request" by taking control of my ship. We do not know how he has managed this, but we only have a few hours to retain control before the two planets collide—a very dangerous position to be in.
573 573 Ship in A Bottle

Captain's log, supplemental. Moriarty tricked us. He created a Holodeck simulation of the entire ship—Data, Mr. Barclay and I have not left the Holodeck since our first meeting with the Professor. To regain control of the ship, I programmed the Holodeck inside of Moriarty's simulation to do the same thing. We let him "escape" the ship in a shuttlecraft. Moriarty and Countess Barthalomew will live out the remainder of their lives within a programmed simulation of our galaxy. We have pulled back to a safe distance with which to view the colliding planets and formation of a new star.
574 574 Aquiel

Captain's log, stardate 46461.3. We have traveled to the lpai sector, close to the Klingon Neutral Zone, to rendezvous with a communications station and deliver supplies. We have discovered that of the two lieutenants assigned to the station, one is dead and the other is missing, presumably in a shuttlecraft which is also missing. Lieutenant Commander La Forge is investigating the station's logs to try to determine what has happened here.
575 575 Aquiel

Captain's log, supplemental. While investigaling possible Klingon involvement in Lieutenant Aquiel Uhnari's death, a Klingon delegation has delivered the missing lieutenant herself. Now knowing that Lieutenant Uhnari is alive, she is unfortunately now a suspect in the murder of Lieutenant Rocha. Worf, Riker and La Forge are investigating the shuttlecraft. Uhnari was recovered in while Doctor Crusher works to recover DNA samples from a vaporized deckplate. The Klingons have denied any participation in the death.
576 576 Aquiel

Captain's log, supplemental. The investigation into the death of Lieutenant Rocha has concluded. The Lieutenant was killed by a coalescent being which absorbed his form prior to his assignment on the station. The being then transferred into the form of Lieutenant Uhnari's dog, following a failed attempt on her life. Counselor Troi has left the ship for a neuro-psychology seminar on Bokara VI and the U.S.S. Enterprise is headed for research station seventy-five.
577 577 Face of the Enemy

Counselor's log, stardate 46519.1. I have awakened to find myself physically altered to look like a Romulan and on board a Romulan Warbird. I was abducted following a conference on Bokara VI in order to assist an underaround faction. I am to assume the position of a member of the Tal Shiar, a Romulan intelligence agency, apparently at odds with the Romulan military. We are taking cargo supplied by Ambassador Spock to a rendezvous point near Federation space.
578 578 Face of the Enemy

Captain's log, stardate 46519.2. We have picked up a passenger from research station seventy-five, a former defector to Romulan space, named DeSeve. He has passed on a message from Ambassador Spock regarding several high-ranking Romulan officials who are defecting as a sign of resistance to the Romulan govermment. After tracking the cargo vessel we were to meet, we have found debris and signs of a Romulan attack.
579 579 Face of the Enemy

Captain's log, supplemental. The U.S.S. Enterprise was confronted by a Romulan Warbird under the command of Counselor Troi, disguised as a Romulan. At her request, we lowered shields, ostensibly to transport her over to discuss our situation. Once our shields were down, the warbird appeared to fire upon us, but actually it beamed over the defectors. There was no damage to the ship and we were able to safely beam aboard the Counselor as well before a warp nine retreat.
580 580 Tapestry

First officer's log, supplemental. We have just returned to the U.S.S. Enterprise following an attack on the planet's surface. The Lenarians attacked us just outside of the conference room using compressed Teryon beam weapons. The Captain was hit in the chest, apparently fusing the bio-regulator in his artificial heart. We called for emergency transportation to Sickbay where Doctor Crusher has begun immediate treatment on the Captain.
581 581 Tapestry

Captain's log, stardate unknown. I have just been killed by a Lenarian attack which damaged my artificial heart. I have been greeted by the entity known as Q who has done something either extraordinary or mischievous—given me a chance to go back into my life and change my own past. I do not know if this is some type of game Q is playing, but I am reliving my ensign days, just before the time of the accident when my heart was pierced with a Nausicaan knife.
582 582 Tapestry

Captain's log, supplemental. Q allowed me to change my past and take a safer route through my life. He also gave me the opportunity to live the life that those actions portended: bereft of passion and imagination, rising only to the rank of a junior lieutenant in astrophysics on the U.S.S. Enterprise. I admitted to Q that changing my past was a mistake, and I would rather die as the man I was than live that other life. Q returned me to Sickbay where, to my amazement, I was revived by Doctor Crusher.
583 583 Birthright, Part I

Captain's log, stardate 46578.4. The U.S.S. Enterprise has arrived at station Deep Space Nine where we will assist in the reconstruction of the Bajoran aqueduct systems damaged during the Cardassian occupation. Lieutenant Commander Data, during the investigation of an unknown Gamma Quadrant artifact, experienced a system shutdown and a subsequent "vision" of his creator, Doctor Soong. Mr. Worf has requested leave to investigate a mystery of his own.
584 584 Birthright, Part I

Second officer's personal log, supplemental. Doctor Bashir of station Deep Space Nine and Geordi assisted my efforts to explore the interpretation of my vision of Dr. Soong. We re-created the conditions in which my vision first appeared, and another shutdown caused an additional sequence of images. I believe now that Doctor Soong intended this programming to activate once I reached the appropriate level of cognitive development. I intend to shut down briefly each day in order to generate new "dreams."
585 585 Birthright, Part I

Security officer's personal log, supplemental. The Yridian who claimed to have knowledge of my father's capture by the Romulans who attacked Khitomer has taken me to the Carraya System. I did not wish to believe any Klingon would let themselves be imprisoned by Romulans, but I have discovered a prison camp filled with Klingons who do not actively pursue escape.
586 586 Birthright, Part II

Security officer's personal log, stardate 46759.2. L'Kor, a friend of my father, has explained the circumstances behind the prison camp and informed me that my father, Mogh, died at Khitomer. A Romulan commander, Tokath, took pity on the Klingon captives and arranged for them to stay on the Carrayan planet. Rather than let their families know of their disgrace, the captives stayed. The worst obscenity is that Tokath married a Klingon woman … and I find myself strangely attracted to his daughter, Ba'el.
587 587 Birthright, Part II

Captain's log, supplemental. The Yridian vessel Lieutenant Worf boarded at Deep Space Nine failed to arrive for our scheduled rendezvous. We contacted the station to access the ship's flight plan, and believed Mr. Worf to be in either the Nequencia or Carraya systems. Our search was cut short by a cryptic message from him requesting we meet a Romulan vessel to take on passengers.
588 588 Birthright, Part II

Security officer's personal log, supplemental. During my stay in the camp, I discovered the younger Klingons had been taught nothing of our ways. As they heard our songs and learned to hunt, their warrior's blood ignited, and they decided to leave and pursue a Klingon way of life. Tokath and the Klingon elders protested but finally agreed to let them go. We will say they are crash survivors and transport them to their new lives.
589 589 Starship Mine

Captain's log, stardate 46682.4. The U.S.S. Enterprise is docked at the Remmler Array for a routine baryon sweep to rid the ship of accumulated radioactive particles. The ship has been evacuated but when I returned to retrieve my saddle, I found some of the technicians still on board. These technicians were engaged in some kind of illicit activity. After disabling one of them, I proceeded to the Transporter Room—but not before the power shut down trapping me on board.
590 590 Starship Mine

Captain's log, supplemental. There is a band of terrorists on my ship. I was captured by one of them and taken to Main Engineering where I discovered their plan: to steal a supply of the highly unstable substance, trilithium resin, from our engine core. I was able to break free, disabling the diverter they were using as protection against the baryon sweep. They do not know that I am a Starfleet officer an, advantage I hope to exploit.
591 591 Starship Mine

Captain's log, supplemental. The terrorists were at work on the Remmier Array as well, capturing my crew at Admiral Hutchinson's reception. The group on my ship was led by a woman named Kelsey. She alone eluded me and made it to Ten-Forward with the stolen trilithium. She beamed to a waiting transport, but I had removed the stabilizer from the trilithium container she carried. It exploded, destroying her and her vessel.
592 592 Lessons

Captain's log, stardate 46693.1. We have taken on some newly transferred crew members from Starbase 218. Among them is Lieutenant Commander Neela Daren. We are now headed out towards the Borgolis Nebula. My Chief Medical Officer, Beverly Crusher, has had a report on ribosome replication accepted for publication by the Biogenics Journal—an impressive feat.
593 593 Lessons

Captain's log, supplemental. We have received word that an intense Bersallin fire storm is threatening the Federation outpost on Bersallis III, so we are en route at warp six to lend assistance if necessary. On a personal note. I have become acquainted with our new head of Stellar Sciences. Lieutenant Commander Neela Daren. She is one of the recent transfers to the ship. I am acutely aware of the consequences a relationship with a co-worker may have.
594 594 Lessons

Captain's log, stardate 46697.1. We have successfully evacuated the Bersallin colonists. Using Lieutenant Daren's recommendation, we activated overlapping thermal deflectors to gain us the extra time needed to react in the face of a severe storm. We lost eight crew members. Their records show that they gave their lives in the performance of their duty. Lieutenant Commander Daren has requested, and been granted, a transfer off the ship, due to the growing feelings between us.
595 595 The Chase

Captain's log, supplemental. The appearance of my former archaeology instructor, Professor Galen, has renewed my interest in archaeology. The Professor has asked for my assistance with a project that he has been working on for the past ten years that has profound implications. I had to decline. Following our discussion, he left the ship in his shuttlecraft. Shortly after his departure, however, Professor Galen's ship was attacked, and he was killed. The only clues as to a motive lie within his computer files which he was encrupting during the attack.
596 596 The Chase

Captain's log, supplemental. We are backtracking Professor Galen's path, in an attempt to learn more about what he'd been working on for the last ten years. It appears that he was collecting genetic samples which contain protein strings from across the quadrant. The samples we found in his files have been connected by the computer, forming the basis of a program. We are not alone in our search either—we have now determined Klingon and Cardassian factions searching for the same missing codes we seek.
597 597 The Chase

Captain's log, supplemental. By working with the Cardassian and Klingon captains, we were able to fit together the puzzle posed by the genetic markers. The Romulans also appeared at the last minute, having followed us throughout our search. The end result was a humanoid life-form which spoke of us as descendants of their legacy of life, one of the first in this part of the galaxy. As we departed, the Romulan Commander contacted me with a partial message that, perhaps one day, we might become unified as our distant progenitors intended.
598 598 Frame of Mind

Captain's log, stardate 46778.1. The govermment on the planet Tilonus IV has collapsed following the assassination of the planet's Prime Minister. At the time of this event there was a Federation research team on the surface, which has now been captured or gone into hiding. I am sending Commander Riker down to the surface of the planet undercover, to determine the fate of the research team. Since the planet is in total anarchy, this will be a very dangerous assignment.
599 599 Frame of Mind

First officer's log, stardate unknown. I do not understand what is happening to me. I have been recently rehearsing for a play, directed by our ship's Chief Medical Officer, Beverly Crusher, and I find myself so immersed in my role that I am having difficulty determining reality from fantasy. One moment I find myself on the U.S.S. Enterprise, the next I am in some alien mental ward. I do not know who I am anymore.
600 600 Frame of Mind

Captain's log, supplemental. Commander Riker has returned from his mission on Tilonus IV where he was captured and taken to some type of hospital by one of the rival factions seeking power on the planet. Under the care of Doctor Crusher, Riker is recovering from a neuro-somatic technique which was apparently used to attempt access to his long-term memory. Beverly says Wil can expect a full recovery.
601 601 Suspicions

Captain's log, stardate 46830.1. Doctor Crusher invited a team of scientists aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise to test a theoretical new metaphasic shielding technology. Doctor Reyga, a Ferengi scientist, equipped a shuttlecraft with this new shield. It was piloted into the corona of a star by a Takaran scientist. Jo'Bril. Jo'Bril died, but the cause does not appear to have been solar radiation…
602 602 Suspicions

Captain's log, supplemental. Unable to find a cause for the death of Doctor Jo'Bril, Doctor Crusher began an investigation. Doctor Reyga wished to attempt another shuttlecraft flight, but this was out of the question. When Doctor Reyga was found dead, it appeared to be a suicide, but Beverly would not accept this. Against Ferengi custom, Doctor Crusher performed an autopsy on Doctor Reyga, but to no avail. In response to this action, I have been ordered to relieve her of duty. She will undergo a formal inquiry at Starfleet Medical next week.
603 603 Suspicions

Chief medical officer's log, stardate 46831.2. After being relieved of duty, I continued my own investigation into the death of Doctor Jo'Bril. I found tetryon traces in his subdermal layers, leading me to believe that his flight was sabolaged. I took the shuttlecraft, Justman, out myself to prove that the metaphasic shielding worked. Within the star's corona, I was attacked by Jo'Bril who wasn't dead after all! After a struggle, I was able to regain control of the shuttlecraft and return to the ship. I have been reinstated as Chief Medical Officer.
604 604 Rightful Heir

Personal log, stardate 46852.2. Lieutenant Worf reporting. I have been granted leave by the Captain so that I might seek out the clerics at Boreth. Since my return from the Carraya System, I have held doubts regarding my own faith in Sto-Vo-Kor. While meditating into a fire in the temple I have finally had a vision of Kahless—but, true to his promise over fifteen centuries ago, he has actually returned! My vision of him is real.
605 605 Rightful Heir

Captain's log, supplemental. We have picked up a Klingon claiming to be Kahless, returned from the dead after some fifteen hundred years, and brought him to meet Gowron just outside of Klingon territory. Gowron brought the Knife of Kirom, a sacred artifact which has the blood of the original Kahless upon it. Using our ship's Sickbay, we conducted a DNA test, which yielded a positive match. Somehow, this man is Kahless.
606 606 Rightful Heir

Captain's log, supplemental. We have delivered Kahless into the Klingon Empire with Gowron's support. It has been determined that the Kahless we met was a genetic clone of the original, with the writings of Kahless imprinted into his brain as memories. Kahless will become the new Emperor of the Klingon people, but Gowron will retain leadership of the Klingon high council. It is hoped that with this spiritual leadership, the Klingon people will grow into the proud warrior race of their forefathers.
607 607 Second Chances

Captain's log, stardate 46915.2. We are at Nervala IV, working to recover data from a science station on the planet's surface. Due to a high distortion field, we are only able to transport to the surface during rare periods of de-phasing. Our Away Team was met by a man identifying himself as Lieutenant Wil Riker. Medical scans have determined that there was a transporter accident and William Riker was beamed back to his ship, the U.S.S. Potemkin, while an exact duplicate was refiected back, where he has remained for eight years.
608 608 Second Chances

Captain's log, supplemental. Lieutenant Riker is assisting us in accessing the data from the station's computers on Nervala IV. He seems to be re-integrating into society with ease and it is hard not to like this man who is identical to a close friend in many ways. Because of his familiarity with the station, Lieutenant Riker has come up with a risky plan to retrieve the data during our next window in the distortion field.
609 609 Second Chances

Personal log, stardate 46920.1. Lieutenant William Riker reporting. We have downloaded the files from Nervala IV and have rendezvoused with the U.S.S. Ghandi, my new assignment. I have decided to use the name Thomas to differentiate myself from my "duplicate self." Deanna chose not to accompany me on the Ghandi. but there are always possibilities… Commander Riker has given me the Trombone I—we—learned to play on. The gesture certainly meant a lot to me.
610 610 Timescape

Captain's log, stardate 46944.2. During our return from a three-day conference, Mr. Data, Mr. La Forge, Counselor Troi, and I have experienced some type of strange temporal phenomenon. It would appear that the space-time continuum is fragmenting in this area of space. We are within visual range of the U.S.S. Enterprise and can see that it is engaged in some type of battle with a Romulan Warbird—but frozen in time.
611 611 Timescape

Captain's log, supplemental. We have determined a way to isolate ourselves from the effects of the space-time fracturing, and have investigated both the Romulan Warbird and our ship. The U.S.S. Enterprise will be destroyed if time resumes its course, due to a warp core breach in progress. There are also signs of some type of biological reading from within the Warbird's engine core—an artificial quantum singularity. Data's Tricorder scan disrupted the state of time, something we are now investigating.
612 612 Timescape

Captain's log, supplemental. Since discovering that a Tricorder scan could affect the cause of the time disruption, we have caused time to reverse itself further, so that we could prevent the warp core breach in our ship. The lifesigns in the Romulan engine core are of extra-temporal origin, placed there accidentally. We were able to save the ship and transport over the Romulan survivors before the Warbird vanished into the temporal fracture.
613 613 Descent, Part I

Captain's log, stardate 46982.1. We have encountered the Borg. Responding to a distress call from the outpost at Ohniaka III, we encountered an unidentified vessel. I sent an Away Team to the planet's surface where they were attacked by unusually brutal Borg. These Borg acted as individuals and somehow prompted Data to react emotionally—saving the lives of the Away Team but with an inexplicable manifestation of feelings.
614 614 Descent, Part I

Captain's log, supplemental. Following his encounter with the Borg, Lieutenant Commander Data has been behaving in a most unusual fashion. At his request I relieved him of duty, while he attempts to discover the cause of his anger. There are a number of questions surrounding the Borg we've encountered: They are in an unknown vessel, either assimilated or a new design. They are responding as individuals and they have retreated using some tupe of transwarp conduit.
615 615 Descent, Part I

Captain's log, supplemental. Two Borg were beamed to our bridge, in order to facilitate the escape of their ship. One of these Borg, calling himself "Crosis," survived and was treated in the brig. He apparently held some kind of control over Data because the two of them left the ship in a shuttlecraft using Data's control codes. We pursued the shuttlecraft but have been confronted by an angry group of Borg being led bu Lore—and Data…

Characters

619 619 Chief Miles O'Brien

While on the U.S.S. Enterprise, Chief Miles O'Brien was introduced to his future wife, Keiko Ishikawa—a botanist, by Lieutenant Commander Data. Keiko and Miles O'Brien were married by Captain Jean-Luc Picard on stardate 44390, in a ceremony conducted in the Ten Forward lounge of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Lieutenant Commander Data acted as the father of the bride, giving Keiko away.
620 620 Chief Miles O'Brien

Early in his career O'Brien served as tactician on the U.S.S. Rutledge under the command of Captain Beniamin Maxwell. The U.S.S. Rutledge arrived on Setlick III the morning after a Cardassian attack. O'Brien was instrumental in saving the lives of several Starfleet personnel, through quick action with a finicky field transporter. O'Brien harbored hard feelings toward the Cardassians for years. He finally had to face his prejudices when his old Captain, Maxwell threatened the peace between the Cardassians and the Federation by destroying their ships. O'Brien was able to persuade Maxwell to give up.
621 621 Chief Miles O'Brien

Chief Miles O'Brien held a number of positions while serving on board Starfleet's flagship, the Galaxy-class U.S.S. Enterprise. After manning the battle bridge conn position, he was transferred to a long-standing post as Transporter Chief. On Stardate 46379.1, O'Brien—with his wife Keiko and daughter Molly—moved to space station Deep Space Nine, where he accepted promotion to Chief of Operations.
622 622 Chief Miles O'Brien

The birth of Chief Miles O'Brien and Keiko's daughter took place under an extremely difficult situation. During the chaos of a shipwide systems falure, Keiko went into labor while in Ten-Forward. Unable to move Keiko to Sickbay, Lieutenant Worf delivered Molly O'Brien into the world on stardate 45156.1. When the couple later moved to space station Deep Space Nine, Molly went with her parents, even though the atmosphere was less conducive to children.
623 623 Chief Miles O'Brien

Species: - Human

Place of Birth: - Unknown
Graduated Starfleet Academy: - No
Current Rank: - Chief of Operations
Current Assignment: - Deep Space Nine

Various aspects of Chief O'Brien's biography including his age. place of birth, and his early years in Starfleet are unspecified and open to conjecture.
624 624 Chief Miles O'Brien

On stardate 45571.2, Chief Miles O'Brien was possessed by aliens from a type of penal colony along with Data and Troi. The trio attempted to hijack the vessel, but it proved too difficult for the three of them. The inmates were returned to an energy state, swirling around a moon orbiting Mab-Bu VI. Captain Picard was instrumental in returning Chief O'Brien, Data, and Troi to their normal selves.
625 625 Chief Miles O'Brien

O'Brien has also had to learn to face his fears. He had an abject fear of spiders until an emercency repair on Zayra IV took him into a Jefferies tube, isolating him with about twenty huge Talarian hook spiders. By the time the repair was completed, O'Brien had overcome his fear of the creatures. O'Brien keeps a pet tarantula as a reminder of his former anxiety.
626 626 Chief Miles O'Brien

Shortly before Chief Miles O'Brien's transfer to space station Deep Space Nine, he faced another difficult and personal challenge. When members of a shuttlecraft returning from the planet Marlonia were exposed to an unusual energy field, they were reverted to their pre-adolescent states. Among these was his wife. Keiko O'Brien. Working with Chief Medical Officer Beverly Crusher, O'Brien was able to replace blocked genetic sequences using his transporter and retum his wife and crewmates back to their former selves.
627 627 Chief Miles O'Brien

Under the influence of Q, Captain Picard found himself shifting in time between the past, present, and future. In the past he encountered an Enterprise crew whom he regarded as old friends but who regarded him as their new Captain. Picard ordered O'Brien to Engineering to solve an extensive plasma inducer problem. O'Brien said that they would be "burning the midnight oil." Data, confused by the saying, responded "That would be inappropriate."
621620619
624623622
627626625
628 628 Q

The entity identifying itself as the Q first appeared to Starffeet personnel on stardate 41153.7. The entity appeared on the bridge of the Galaxy-class U.S.S. Enterprise during its mission to Farpoint Station. Apparently extremely powerful, the entity consistently appeared in a humanoid form, stating that all of humanity was to be put on trial, accused of barbarity. Captain Jean-Lac Picard and his crew were able to dissuade him from certainly dire consequences.
629 629 Q

The second appearance of Q was on stardate 41590.5. In another test of humanity, Q granted abilities similar to its own upon Commander Riker of the U.S.S. Enterprise. At first, Riker used these new abilities to save the lives of his fellow crew members. In time, however, it became apparent that this vast power carried with it a type of corruption which could easily lead to abuse. Commander Riker relinquished this ability.
630 630 Q

Q again appeared to members of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew on stardate 42761.3. On this occasion, Q sent the Federation starship deep into the Delta Quadrant to system J-25, where they encountered the species known as the Borg. This meeting was posited as a warning by Q of what awaited mankind in the near future. After suffering a number of casualties, the ship was returned to Federation space.
631 631 Q

When Q was next seen, he had been seemingly stripped of his abilities and cast out of the Q Continuum. Q was left on the U.S.S. Enterprise in Human form to live among them in exile. When he was attacked by a prior enemy, the Calamarain, Lieutenant Commander Data risked himself to save Q. This act caused the Q to flee the ship, drawing his enemies away from the crew. Q's act of selflessness, in turn, caused the Continuum to accept him back.
632 632 Q

Species: - Unknown
Born: - Unknown
Place of Birth: - Unknown
Graduated Starfleet Academy: - No
Current Rank: - None
Current Assignment: - None

Q has been reported in other locations, notably on station Deep Space Nine, again with the archaeologist Vash. Q has demonstrated the ability to manipulate space, time and matter at will. It is not known how many of the Q there are, but their existence would explain a great number of mythos throughout the galaxy. The familiar Q has appeared in other forms, but seems to prefer that of a Humanoid male in contemporary Starfieet attire.
633 633 Q

The Q continued to be fascinated with Captain Jean-Luc Picard and his crew. On stardate 44741.9. Q took Picard and members of his command crew and placed them into a reality based upon the ancient Earth legends of Robin Hood in Sherwood Forest. The purpose of the fantasy was to determine if Picard was truly in love with an archaeologist named Vash. Following this frivolous interacion, Q left—with Vash!
634 634 Q

More about the nature of Q was discovered when he visited the U.S.S. Enterprise for the purpose of evaluating Amanda Rogers, a young Human female who had grown up without knowledge of her true nature—she was a member of the Q. Amanda was born of parents who were in Human form, living on Earth. They died mysteriously, especially for beings with such extreme ablity. Amanda left the starship to live among the Q.
635 635 Q

When Captain Jean-Luc Picard's artificial heart was damaged in a Lenarian ambush, he died in Sickbay. After his death, Picard was greeted by Q in a seeming "Afterlife." Q gave Picard the opportunity to re-live a part of his life which he regretted, and view the consequences. Picard learned that some of the dynamic of his being was determined by some of the rash action he had taken in his youth. As in other instances, Q restored reality after the digression.
636 636 Q

Several years after their first encounter, Q once again placed Jean-Luc Picard into a courtroom diorama for the crimes of Humanity and being grievously savage. Picard was given the added challenge of solving a paradox involving a phenomenon called anti-time, where his actions in the future were actually the cause of the destruction of mankind's evolution. Picard discovered the paradox, with help from Q himself, and survived the ordeal, proving the ability to expand his mind and explore the unknown possiblities of existence.

S31 S31 Death Howl

When a Klingon warrior dies or is killed, other Klingons may perform a ceremonial howl or yell as part of the Klingon death ritual. The eyes of the fallen Kingon are opened and others roar in a great crescendo. This yell is victorious in nature, rather than mournful and also serves to warn the other dead that a Klingon warrior is coming.

The Klingon Painstik is an important part of a Klingon's Age of Ascension ceremony. The Painstik is employed by friends of the recipient who use the devices to inflict pain in a manner which will allow the Klingon to attain a higher state of spirituality as a warrior, proving his mettle. Painstiks are a little over one meter long and emit a highly-charged shock for the express purpose of inflicting pain.

S33 S33 Cloaking Device

All Klingon vessels are equipped with a cloaking device, allowing the ship to fly in a state of practical invisibility. Cloaking technology was gained through an alliance with the Romulan Star Empire, possibly in exchange for Warp Drive technology. Due to the tremendous energy drain of a cloaking device, weapons cannot be discharged while the cloak is in operation.

S34 S34 Scotty

Chief Engineer of the first U.S.S. Enterprise, Montgomery Scott remained in Starfleet for over fifty years, attaining the rank of Captain. Mr. Scott or "Scotty" was headed for retirement on the Norpin Colony when the vessel he was on, the U.S.S. Jenolen, impacted with a Dyson sphere. Scotty survived by placing himself in a transporter buffer where he was recovered seventy-five years later by the Galaxy-class U.S.S. Enterprise.
S35 S35 Alexander

Alexander Rozhenko is the son of Lieutenant Worf and the late Federation Ambassador K'Ehleyr. Due to his mother's heritage, Alexander is one-fourth Human. Alexander lived with his mother until stardate 44246.3 when he was introduced to his father and subsequently sent to live on Earth with Worf's adoptive parents, Sergey and Helena Rozhenko. Alexander did again join his father on the U.S.S. Enlerprise, but not on the later assignment to Station Deep Space Nine.
S36 S36 Lore

The first android constructed by Doctor Noonien Soong with a positronic brain was named Lore. Lore emulated Human action so closely he engendered negative feelings from the colonists at Omicron Theta. Lore is physically identical to Lieutenant Commander Data except for the addition of emotions. After collusion with the Crystalline Entity and a faction of the Borg against the U.S.S. Enterprise, Lore was dismantled.

Holograms (1:90 packs; up from 1:180 originally planned)

H11 H11 O'Brien

Miles Edward O'Brien left the confines of Earth, venturing out into space as a member of the Federation's Starfleet rather than taking up a career as a musician. O'Brien served on the starship U.S.S. Rutledge during the Cardassian War where he served as Tactician. O'Brien was transferred to the U.S.S. Enterprise where he served as Transporter Chief and met his wife, Keiko. O'Brien was later promoted to Chief of Operations as part of his transfer to space station Deep Space Nine.
H12 H12 Q

The entity known as Q frequently visits specific members of Starfleet, notably the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The incredible power of Q coupled with an almost childlike sense of diversion makes him extremely dangerous. Q has been at odds with others of his species, possibly due to his predilection towards actions with Homo Sapiens. These interactions with humans have even gone so far as to cause Q to be outcast and stripped of his abilities, albeit temporarily.

As part of an elaborate validation of Amanda Rogers' abilties and willingness to join the Q Continuum, Q played a peculiar game of hide and seek with her. Using their seeming-omnipotent abilties, the pair teleported throughout the U.S.S. Enterprise, even into the dangerous warp core chamber! When Amanda realized the abilities she possessed, and her own reluctance to refrain from their use, she joined the other members of the Q.

When extra-dimensional alien embryos placed within the engine core of a Romulan Warbird threatened to destroy the ship, the U.S.S. Enterprise attempted aid. However, the power transfer between the two ships caused a temporal rapture. With time frozen, Picard and a runabout crew determined that the starship Enterprise was going to be destroyed—unless the power transfer beam was interrupted. Thinking quickly, Captain Picard piloted the runabout remotely to block the beam, saving the starships, the alien embryos, and preserving time.
