For recreation, he enjoyed fencing, racquetball and Dixon Hill holonovels. |

Alkar was a Lumerian representative who was using his innate empathic abilities to divert negative emotional energy into others, freeing himself physically and mentally for his negotiations. After this abuse killed his previous receptacle, he began transferring this energy into Deanna Troi. Crusher and Picard blocked Alkar, flooding him with his own negative energy, which rapidly aged and killed him. |

Armus appeared as an amorphous black sludge, which could form a humanoid shape. |

Commander William T. Riker, from Valdez, Alaska, Earth, served as first officer on the Galaxy-class Enterprise under Captain Picard. Picard chose Riker for his ability to take calculated risks and explore new ideas. In a previous position, Riker was assigned to the planet Betazed, where he met his Imzadi, Deanna Troi. Riker also enjoyed playing the trombone and vacationing on Risa. |

Sarjenka was a child living on Drema IV who built a simple subspace radio to broadcast a plea for help with her planet's severe geological disturbances. Dr. Pulaski erased Sarjenka's memory of the incident. |

Voval posed as a simple shuttle pilot transporting Captain Picard to the planet Lyar. En route, he intentionally crashed the shuttle, injuring Picard. During Picard's recovery, Voval assumed the covert identity Anna, a female crash survivor from a Terellian freighter. In this guise, Voval hoped to learn about romance and love. The experiment failed when Picard discovered the ruse. |

Richard Castillo was serving aboard the Enterprise, NCC-1701-C, when it answered a distress call from the Klingon outpost at Narendra III, under Romulan attack. The battle tore open a temporal rift and the Enterprise traveled into the future, changing history. When the temporal change was sensed by Guinan, Castillo and Tasha Yar returned through the anomaly to correct the timeline. |

When he learned that his information was planted by Tomalak as a trap, he committed suicide. |

Following the Romulan massacre of the Klingon outpost at Khitomer, Worf was raised by a human family, the Rozhenkos. Worf became the first Klingon to graduate from Starfleet Academy. He was assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise as a lieutenant, junior grade, was quickly promoted to full lieutenant and made head of security. Worf had a son, Alexander, with Ambassador K'Ehleyr. |

Following this encounter, Vash left to explore the Galaxy with Q. |

One-on-one, Dathon conveyed to Picard that the basis of their language was metaphor. Unfortunately, Dathon was mortally wounded in the process. |

The experiment failed and Timicin considered seeking asylum to continue his work. When that sparked a diplomatic incident, he withdrew to Kaelon II for his Resolution, a traditional end of life. |

Following this mission, Picard requested that Ro remain as a member of the crew. After extended training and a promotion, Lieutenant Ro was sent to infiltrate the Maquis, which she then joined. |

Ventaxian legend explained that war and suffering were ended millennia before b the Contract of Ardra. This also foretold her return to accept payment, in the form of servitude of its people. When the Pakleds were encountered by the U.S.S. Enterprise, they appeared to be of limited intelligence and in need of assistance. He also showed advanced reasoning when he released La Forge after witnessing an impressive display of force by the Enterprise. |

The Ferengi DaiMon Bok sought revenge against Picard, who had defeated his son at the Battle of Maxia. Later, Bok tried coercion by threatening the life of a boy genetically altered to appear to be Picard's son. |

Jev was part of a Ullian delegation led by his father Tarmin. They conducted telepathic research to compile a database of memories for a cultural library. On the U.S.S. An investigation revealed he had committed this crime numerous times during the delegates' travels. |

Her flamboyant and flirtatious nature often caused amusement and embarrassment for her daughter and the Enterprise crew. |

Tallera was the Romulan alias used by the Vulcan T'Paal when she infiltrated Arctus Baran's crew. She confided to Picard that she was an operative, sent to retrieve the Stone of Gol. When it was found, however, she used it to kill Baran's crew and revealed herself to be a Vulcan isolationist. Picard was able to render the device inert and arrest her. |

The enigmatic humanoid known simply as "The Traveler" had the ability to warp space and time. He searched the Galaxy for others with similar gifts and discovered Wesley Crusher on the U.S.S. Enterprise. The Traveler helped Wesley understand that matter, energy and thought were interchangeable. He visited Wesley again to help in a crisis and offer his guidance. |

Pardek's plans were stopped by Captain Picard, Commander Data and Ambassador Spock. |

Jameson was renowned for hostage release negotiations on Mordan IV. He accomplished this feat by providing weapons in violation of the Prime Directive. Jameson reconciled this by supplying the captor's opponents with equal weaponry. The resulting civil war lasted 40 years. Lured back to Mordan IV for atonement, Jameson died of complications from a self-inflicted cure for his chronic Iverson's Disease. |

Sela was the daughter of Tasha Yar from an alternate timeline and a Romulan general. She wanted to prove herself a good Romulan despite her heritage. Sela supported the Duras sisters in the Klingon Civil War, and she tried to use Ambassador Spock and his reunification movement to send three stolen Vulcan ships full of Romulan soldiers to invade Vulcan. |

The Bynars were a species of cyborgs that worked in pairs and communicated rapidly with each other through a buffer. They were employed by Starfleet for systems upgrades on the Galaxy-class Enterprise. Two Bynar pairs, 1100 and 1001 evacuated the ship in order to take it to Bynaus and to restart their planetary computer, which had been damaged by a supernova. |

Kosinski was a propulsion expert who came aboard the Enterprise to enhance the ship's warp drive engines. Kosinski's arrogance did not sit well with the Enterprise crew, particularly Chief Engineer Argyle and Commander Riker. It was later discovered that Kosinski's work was severely flawed, and that he had been taking credit for results produced by his assistant, The Traveler. |

Romulan Commander Tomalak encountered the U.S.S. Enterprise on several occasions, when their duties brought them near the Neutral Zone. The Enterprise escaped capture by Tomalak with the aid of several cloaked Klingon warships. |

Devinoni Ral had a reputation as a shrewd negotiator. He came to the U.S.S. Enterprise representing the Chrysalians in negotiations for the Barzan Wormhole. While on the Enterprise, he became romantically involved with Deanna Troi, who discovered he was part Betazoid. He used his empathic abilities to give him an unethical edge in his dealings. |

Riva was a member of the ruling family of Ramatis III who were genetically rendered deaf. To communicate, Riva used a chorus of three telepathic interpreters who spoke for different aspects of his persona: the Warrior, the Scholar and one of balance. Among Riva's many achievements as a negotiator were several treaties between the Klingon Empire and the Federation. |

Cyrus Redblock was a gangster in the Dixon Hill holonovels that Picard enjoyed for recreation. Redblock demonstrated the potential dangers of the holodeck when an accident shut off safety protocols, and one of his men shot an Enterprise crewmember. Later Redblock emerged into the ship's corridor, where he determined that he was part of something far greater than himself. |

The leader of a powerful civilization, the Aldeans, Radue sought to combat sterility among his people by taking children from the U.S.S. Enterprise, including Wesley Crusher, to be adopted and raised on Aldea. Dr. Crusher was able to determine that the cause of the sterility was a shield which had cloaked and protected their planet for millennia. |

Thadiun Okona sought assistance from the U.S.S. Enterprise for his ship, the Erstwhile. When each planet contacted Picard. seeking Okona for justice, the affair was revealed, and Okona was free to continue his travels. |

Korris was killed on the ship's engineering deck where he attempted to win his freedom at phaser point. |
