CAPTAIN JANEWAY
C A R E E R H I G H L I G H T S
After serving as a science officer aboard the starships Al-Batani and Billings earlier in her career, Kathryn Janeway assumed command of U.S.S. Voyager in 2371.
Transported along with a Maquis vessel to the Delta Quadrant by a mysterious lifeform, the "Caretaker," Janeway and Voyager found themselves stranded 70,000 light years from home.
Blending the Maquis vessel's crew with her people for the trip home, Janeway appointed several of the other ship's crew to vital positions aboard Voyager. |

CAPTAIN JANEWAY
C A R E E R H I G H L I G H T S
When a transporter accident combined Tuvok and Neelix into a unique lifeform, "Tuvix," Janeway made the agonizing decision to end his life in an effort to bring her two crew members back.
Macrovirus organisms capable of growing into dangerous lifeforms infected Voyager in 2373, incapacitating the crew and leaving only Janeway and the Doctor to fight them.
In 2374, Janeway and Voyager spent a year being repeatedly attacked by a Krenim "timeship" which kept attempting to rewrite history by eliminating them. |

CAPTAIN JANEWAY
C A R E E R H I G H L I G H T S
After liberating the Borg drone Seven of Nine from the Collective in 2374, Janeway became a mentor to Seven as she struggled to rediscover her humanity.
In 2375, Janeway faced off against the captain of the U.S.S. Equinox after discovering its crew brutally using a sentient lifeform as fuel for their ship.
A future version of Janeway from an alternate timeline assisted Voyager in its final battle against the Borg in 2378, and its triumphant return home. |

CHAKOTAY
C A R E E R H I G H L I G H T S
Formerly a Starfleet officer and a Maquis rebel, Chakotay became Janeway's first officer after he and his crew were marooned with Voyager in 2371.
Chakotay believed in the idea of a merged crew, quashing mutiny attempts by former Maquis members while also pushing for them to serve in key positions.
Stranded on a planet in 2372, Chakotay encountered representatives of an alien race who spoke the language of his ancestors from 45,000 years ago. |

THE DOCTOR
C A R E E R H I G H L I G H T S
The Emergency Medical Hologram was the creation of Dr. Lewis Zimmerman, who fashioned the program with his own likeness and installed it aboard Federation starships.
Voyager's EMH was activated in 2371, after the ship's abrupt transit to the Delta Quadrant, during which the entire medical staff was killed.
One of the Doctor's first unusual medical accomplishments came later that year, when he created a holographic lung to temporarily replace the real ones stolen from Neelix. |

THE DOCTOR
C A R E E R H I G H L I G H T S
In 2372, the Doctor developed a process to separate Tuvix back into Tuvok and Neelix. He refused on moral grounds to carry out the procedure.
When Voyager time-traveled to 1996 Earth, the Doctor helped stop Henry Starling, a man who'd acquired 29th century technology. The doctor acquired a mobile hologram emitter.
The Doctor created a holographic "family" in 2373, from whom he learned many lessons, some of them painful, about human emotions and relationships. |
