Issue 1 was initially priced at £1.99 and issue 2 at £5.99, although thse prices were not printed on the magazine covers. The cover price for issue 3 onward was £9.99 (€15.99, SA R139.90, AUS/NZ $19.99, US $20.00) and remained the same until issue 56 (Saber Class) when it increased to £10.99 (€16.99, AUS/NZ $20.99, US $20.00). The SA Rand price was dropped from issue 24 onwards. The US dollar price increased to $21.95 from issue 58 and again to $22.95 from issue 106. A further increase to £12.99 (€16.99, AUS/NZ $22.99, US $22.95) was applied from issue 111 (Captain Proton's Rocket Ship). UK subscriber prices were not affected by any of these increases, under the price guarantee, and remained at £9.99 until issue 149 for those who started their subscription at that price.
Included with issue 148 was a leaflet informing that the subscription price is to increase from issue 150 onwards to £12.99 (€18.99, AUS $22.99). The cover price further increased to £14.99 (€20.99,US $24.99, AUS $24.95) from issue 150.
Since the collection started the cover price increase percentages are as follows - UK 50%, € 31%, AUS/NZ $ 25%, US $ 25% |
Issue 1 - U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D (Galaxy class)
A good number of the first run of this main release had "INTIAPRINU" printed behind the main shuttlebay instead of "ENTERPRISE"
After much investigation there is still no explanation as to the reason for this or the meaning of the "word"
