In May 2018 this collection was solicited for release via Diamond Comics. Eaglemoss initially intended to release the collection on a monthly basis from October 2018 but they were ultimately issued fairly erratically. Priced at £16.99 in the UK, these will only be availble via the Eaglemoss webstore and other selected on-line retailers. Each bust will come with a 16-page magazine measuring 150 x 194 mm.

Eaglemoss blurb as follows: "This new collection features the iconic captains of Starfleet and other memorable characters from over 50 years of Star Trek TV and movie history, capturing them in impressive detail with highly accurate likenesses, uniforms and props. These hand-painted polyresin busts are 4.5" to 6” tall, come complete with a fact-filled magazine, and form an essential addition to any Star Trek collection."

In October 2019 Eaglemoss stated that the collection is planned to end at issue 12.
